There's a large number of groups for non-believers - humanist, skeptic, freethinkers, Brights, etc....
http://www.atheismunited.com/wiki/Huge_list_o...

Many more than currently on Wiki, such as...
http://www.kyfreethoughtconvention.com/...
http://www.kcatheists.org/construction/index....

There are humanist groups almost everywhere, including NI and Israel. It's not that word is spreading. It is more that "The Word" is increasingly being seen for what it is - superstition.

Interesting. And that does not even capture all of those non-believers like me who have no more interest in joining an organized group of atheists that I would in joining the "League of Those Who Don't Believe in Santa" or the "Easter Bunny Doubter's Club" because to me, non belief is a fact about me, but not one I consider to be defining.

Something the groups I mentioned above would all agree with. None of the groups I mentioned are about non-belief at all. Non-belief is simply a fact about them.

I prefer to describe myself as humanist, skeptic, ratioinalist, freethinker or non-believer as atheist or secular describe me in terms of religion. The groups above describe themselves in a positive way without reference to religion.

(I suppose the alternative would be to call it 'The Group With No Name and No Indication of What It is About':-)
