Well, Mississippi just finally ratified the 13th Amendment, abolishing slavery, which puts them in the mid 1800's in terms of progress. I guess it will take a while for them to join the rest of us here in the 21st Century.

The UK must be the worst offender in the world for out-of-date laws. Apparently, the Duke of Westminster is still legally entitled to drive his sheep across London Bridge, but I bet the Metropolitan Police would intervene if he tried it.(Who would try it??:-)
