Super rich? Like the Wall street fat cats that got bonuses under the Obama Administration for driving their companies into the ground. Then getting borrowed money from the US to pay their bonuses?
Just the facts, Jack.

Do you have ... any?

No?

Interesting.

But yes: even your Jesus would not have been a republican:

Jesus is reported to have said to **feed** the poor-- to give them a **helping** hand.

But.

The republicans? Vote to **eliminate** that helping hand (food stamps), while keeping in place the tax cuts for the super rich.

How "jesus" of them: if Jesus had advocating the robbing of the poor to give to the rich, that is...

It's true.

I don't give a rat's fart in a septic tank **what** you choose to believe in.

So long as you keep it to yourself.

But this **is** an **atheist** forum-- and here you are, a GODBOT, butting your unwanted opinion into things.

So yeah.

We atheists **will** tell you to go f--- yourself.

Actually I believe it was the Bush administration that allowed the US b(w)ankers to get away with ripping off first the American public, then the world to the extent that it caused global depression and then the American public again
The story. US b(w)ankers invented the sub prime mortgage market. They took commission for financing the dept that they knew would be defaulted on (trance one of profit)
They then packaged (and hid) those debts in with above board financial packages and sold them on to banks around the world,(trance two of profit).
It all went tits up and your government had to bail them out to prevent the complete collapse of the US banking sector (trance three of profit)
Not a bad job, getting paid three times for being a greedy git eh?
This happened in 2007 and 2008, and therefore was in no way connected to anything that Obama has done who was not inaugurated until 2009. Nope he was left with the hole dig by your war monger Bush and his buddy b(w)ankers and to be completely fair, Obama was instrumental in pulling the US out of depression several years before some other countries.
But hey, feel free to lay the blame anywhere you want if it makes your conscience clear.
Yep. Facts. They keep proving the god-robots are ...

.... lying.

The "god" you believe in?

Is just a common motto--- devoid of any religious meaning.

According to the US Supreme Court.

How sad for you.

Read carefully, as an atheist you have no basis for morality.
You have no absolute standard if right and wrong.
If you do, share what it is.
Morality comes from parents, not the bible. Witness a sibling punching his brother in the nose. Now, is the parent to tell the puncher to go read the bible for moral guidance? No. The parent would say to the puncher, "how would you like me to punch you in the nose so you know how it feels"? Problem solved with no bible needed.

That's empathy, a product of evolution.

It's the fundamental underpinning of morality.

You appear to be obsessed with prison.

Was it because you long to return there?

Or is it because your Faith teaches you to be a slave?

I mean, the whole "master slave" is pretty much the entire theme of the new testament stories.

So I can see why you'd be longing for the prison life.

Chorus:
This land is your land, this land is my land
From California, to the New York Island
From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me
As I was walking a ribbon of highway
I saw above me an endless skyway
I saw below me a golden valley
This land was made for you and me

Chorus
I've roamed and rambled and I've followed my footsteps
To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts
And all around me a voice was sounding
This land was made for you and me

Chorus
The sun comes shining as I was strolling
The wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling
The fog was lifting a voice come chanting
This land was made for you and me

Chorus
As I was walkin'- I saw a sign there
And that sign said - no tress passin'
But on the other side .... it didn't say nothin!
Now that side was made for you and me!

Chorus
In the squares of the city - In the shadow of the steeple
Near the relief office - I see my people
And some are grumblin' and some are wonderin'
If this land's still made for you and me.

Before the Bible "Cain" killed his brother "Able."

"Able" was a good guy, he didn't even cheat in poker.

So I would say you are correct in that Adam and Eve didn't teach Cain to respect his brother. It was the first case of road rage but without the cars.

I think you were there but never mind that your out and behaving yourself, I hope. I was kinda close to the Jail. The Jail was over the top of the 911/Police dispatchers where I worked for a few months. It was a wonderful experience and I met a lot of really nice people.

Very childish song. Of course the music is really juvenile, all diatonic, not much substance.

There were a lot of nice prisoners too. They are really interesting people when they're not drunk or stoned. I remember this one dear old lady with white hair coming in every week during visitation. Her son had robbed a bank.

She was just a sweetheart. He had done something really bad but Mom still loved him. I hope he got out after serving his time and spent some quality time with his Mom.

Why did he rob the bank? Bill collectors drove him crazy and he thought that was the only way out.
