Atheism requires as much faith as religion? bearvspuma : The only problem with this rationalization is that ita s assuming all athiests are so because theya re intelligent in the ways of science and reasoning and all people that believe in a form of god are unintelligent.

I agree. But they didn't have briquettes 4,000 years ago. They had crap. Cow poop has several uses, one of which is a "briquette".

I know. And I've water tastes better than warm water. But in those days they didn't have ice....
They has to work with what they had.

Coffee from goat poop?!
.....googles.....
Yup. "Kopi Luwak coffee".
Yuck.
But this whole conversation goes back to Impotent misjudging a Scripture, a trait that you atheists seem to attribute to a lot.
Sometimes, yes, something is taken way out of proportion, but then you do realize how silly that book of smut is. It has a lot of things we think of as silly today, a lot. So does Shakespeare, ironically, and the two are about the same quality and type of genre. The difference is that Shakespeare is not purported as being words from some infinitely intelligent being, that makes the bible more than silly, it makes it a mockery of intelligence. So yes, a lot of atheist are, and rightly so, a bit annoyed by the bible because of this very fact.

So he's a philosopher.

Thanks.

You didn't think you actually had a point bringing him up did you fatass?

Still waiting for this proof that he was this highly respected and well known in the atheist community... And waiting... And waiting..... Zzzzzz

As far as I know, he doesn't dissect frogs, if that is your question.

I just find it funny how many times I have brought up scriptures that you had no idea about. Yes a secular, non religious test on bible knowledge. Don't b!tch out now!

Eat some bread cooked on my turds and then you will shut me down on that.

Until then my point stands.

You're welcome ditch digger.

Let's hope that bible test doesn't ask hard questions like... What is the name of the biblical god?

You would stare at that question unable to answer until the time ran out!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Thanks for the laughs! Best get to work on your ditches now!

You're a True Christian™ and can now take Advantage of my exciting RaptureReady® All-American asbestos suits.

All innocent children around the world, that have been brainwashed by their parents or clergy, before they reached the age of reason, s/b taught the truth about religions in general, not just the one they are victims of.

It should be ILLEGAL in all countries to teach any innocent child, any religion dogma, until they have reached the age of reason.

Then they can be given all of the known worlds religions to study and evaluate.

After study how many would be believers?

In school, every period ends with a bell.
Every sentence ends with a period.
Every crime ends with a sentence.

There was a power outage at a mega church yesterday. More than 60 people were trapped on the escalators.

Oddly they just returned from a christian museum where they had all the heads and arms from the statues that are in all the other museums.
