Atheism requires as much faith as religion? bearvspuma : The only problem with this rationalization is that ita s assuming all athiests are so because theya re intelligent in the ways of science and reasoning and all people that believe in a form of god are unintelligent.

No one said you have to watch it.
However, the guy does a great job describing the show/story... a better one than any preacher could provide.
I guess.

If you're into rhetoric & opinion...

Yes, I know.
Like I said, I took algebra (and passed it) before I took calculus....
Why the f_ck do you want to argue every tiny detail?
You missed the point didn't you?

What I am saying is if you passed algebra then forgotten it, then you would have failed calculus.

Algebra is a part of calculus, you can't know calculus without algebra.

Um ... no such thing as an "atheist preacher," there's nothing to preach.
Preach; Deliver a sermon to a group of people.

Sermon; A talk on a religious subject.

So yes, even when atheists give lectures on religion, or anti-religion, it's preaching.

I've always written it as "dammit". When I see "damnit", I read it as "dam nit"....
Lunger will correct us & give us the "imformal" way, the correct way, to write it.
Dammit.
Lol, you were the one who said it was "high school" and got nitty picky. Don't make it seem like I do it.

Oh boy. How do I put this?

I was in high school 20 years ago. I was in algebra in ninth and 10th grade, in 11th grade I went to calculus and in 12th grade I had trigonometry.

I think you're assuming that I forgot everything I learned in algebra in the summer between 10th and 11th grades.

That's not what I meant at all.

Since high school )20 years ago), I have not had to use algebra, calculus or trigonometry wants. Ever. In that time (20 years) I have forgotten what I learned back then.

That's the old saying "if you don't use it, you lose it."

Pipe down anyway, it's only a small conversation.
Look, just because everyone combines the words "dumb" and "ass" when addressing you doesn't mean you can combine any two words you please, dumbass.

Actually, it's junior high to most people, adding in "school" is redundant.
Junior high school seems to be as far as most Topix atheists progressed, intellectually and emotionally. The drugs.

Then if it is true that you have right now forgotten algebra, and still remember calculus, that means right now you will have a very unclear understanding of calculus, because in a way, algebra is a part of calculus. You aren't as smart as you like to imagine you are in that case.

If you forgotten something like calculus that easily, then I guess that would be possible, because something like calculus isn't that easy to remember and isn't so straightforward.

But something as elementary as numbers replacing letters with algebra? If you've digested and learnt algrebra properly in high school, then in time you will at least be able to recount the utmost basics. Hard to give someone like you the benefit of the doubt.

But you said you didn't pay attention to algebra in class, you didn't say you forgotten it. So you are changing the story around, and you deny, as always, what you said.

No, I only did it once, you are acting like I've did it again and again.
