That was quite amusing.
I have a few of those T-shirts in my drawer.
Oh, my young friend with a not fully developed appreciation of music, this old hulk you see has sailed the calm and stormy seas, setting sail and reaching many ports. It has survived broadsides and pirates. It has also been caught in the irons and struggled to get under away. It has passed perilously close to the rocks. It has been caught in the stills, baking in the sun, the varnish peeling, the sails dry rotted away, and ship's stores depleted. It has spent the last many years drifting, following the currents and the breeze, gazing upon what passes in view. Reflecting on what it has seen in the past in its travels and the false notions that led it into those stills or a bad tack. It can no longer struggle against tides and winds. It just waits and enjoys the view until the sea claims it.
Oh, my young sprig, this old persimmon has weathered storms, drought, extreme heat, and the bugs. It has lived its life. It has experienced just about all a persimmon can experience. It is ripe, maybe a little overripe, and ready to drop to the ground to start a new life, or to sustain another one. The sun, wind, rain, and the bugs, no longer bother it. You may see it fall past you as you grow. If you survive the sun, wind, and the bugs.
I'm not on here to save your soul, or to gain knowledge that won't do no good in this manifestation. This is just passing time.
You ain't been no place I ain't been. You should listen to you elders more, laddybuck.
Or something like that.
Reminds me of a song.

Very nice memories.
All totally meaningless when you can't remember them anymore.
I do wax poetic a lot. Comes from observing life and seeing the music and prose that exists in it. Hard to do that when you toot your horn so much.
So, you think what you have done here will bear fruit for eternity, surviving the winds of universal and man made changes? Just what do think mankind will blossom into?
Nothing is eternal, another one of your preconceived notions, and one with not a shred of evidence. Our star along with our planet and solar system will cease to exist.

I will leave behind knowledge that I have planted into the minds of hundreds. I will live on in my music, just as any other composer has done. A hundred years from now it is entirely possible that recordings I have made, and music that I have composed with be listened to and played. That is what I will leave behind, can you say the same?

I believe mankind will see the end of organized religion. As science answers more and more questions that were relegated to Godly answers, God will become an ever receding pocket of scientific ignorance until a belief in mythical being will be pointless. Of course there will always be "hangers on" people too weak to navigate through life without a big daddy in the sky to hold their hands and comfort them. A thousand years from now we may well have cheated death, and have the ability to live for as long as we care to. No need for the fear of death, which is what drives most religions. We will need to migrate to the stars as our planet is eventually doomed. Without this migration our species will end.

On another thread, you posted this, RiversideRedneck.

In that post you made, you said the story was faked by atheists.

However, I searched the article you linked to, and it doesn't mention atheists at all. I pointed this out in a response.

In that post you made, you said the story was faked by atheists.

It wasn't. The report was actually faked by a member of Judaism, and several Christian site promoted it, too. I discovered that, and posted this http://www.topix.com/forum/topstories/T0N0LOR... in order to correct what I'd found earlier.

You said this.

Why would you say that. It's a very specific statement.

Could you supply the link where > you < read that it "exposes a fake atheist report" ?

LOL!!

You have any idea how many great composers are still buried underground with no way to play their music if they are ever found?

You suffer from that wanting to live eternally disease, which is a paradox for a true abiogenic atheist.

Where do you get such notions? Aren't we all just matter and energy that coalesced into these systems of self sustaining by tearing apart other matter to feed our systems? All life are eating machines. Such a machine is only interested in getting fed. Just where do these noble ideas of eternity, providing for the next generation, jumping on hand grenades to save buddies, and other abstract ideas for much further down the line come from?

Just how could an atheist come up with such concepts beyond self? Please don't give me the millions of years routine. How could such ideas even pop into their heads?

Even so, there is a difference between your father and a deity one. Your daddy couldn't pull you back out and make you as good as new. Good thing he knew his limits, eh?
And, of course, my father isn't a sociopath. The same can't be said of "perfect" being who throws his children in a lake of fire for the mere transgression of not believing.

Is your god's ego so fragile that he throws "his children" in a lake of fire for the mere act of not believing?

I'm not really seeing how you can describe this being as perfect. Your god sounds rather vindictive.

I ask that everyone not ignore the problems of human trafficking and slavery today. The pornography business is a part of that victimization of women. And it is a factor in human trafficking and prostitution of which you support by the website you own by your own admission.

You are supporting slavery and victimization of women, teens and children. Child predators are growing in numbers as these deviants feed off of your pornography. Then they begin to patrol neighborhoods looking for children and teens they can abduct. Often resulting in a missing child or person with the consequences not ending up good.

You have tried to paint yourself as a decent citizen and business man. But you are far from decent. You support and feed off the business that result in horrendous crimes against women and children. Your business is a dirty business that leaves a trail of dead bodies and victims.

You are wrong to think thereís nothing harmless about internet pornography. Most people canít see what goes on behind the scenes. The vast majority of Porn Stars of the 70ís and 80ís have died of AIDS and hepatitis. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands that followed in the their path and end up dying of AIDS.

You tried to ditch you evils while you point to a time in history thousands of years ago. The Apostle Paul nor his disciples owned internet porn sites. Your hands with the blood of victims.

Poor baby.

One day you may grow up and realize if it wasn't for that book about that deity you wouldn't have the moral indignation and righteousness you have now. Instead of cousin Hairy for dinner.
