No, not really. It's not about numbers.
The other poem is not very good.
I like riddles. I've never tried making a riddle as a poem. I might try that soon.

Hey there, Clementine.

Maybe Tide's poem is about Deuteronomy?

Or narcissistic personalities?

Apparently you didn't look very carefully at the chart you provided the link to.

For the chart that lists "Percent of deaths in age groups", death by firearms was the 3rd highest percentage for those in the 5-14 year group, and the 2nd highest percentage for those in both the 15-24 and 25-34. It's *over 20%* in the 15-24 group, and passed only by motor vehicle accidents.

If you don't believe me, take another look.

Narcissistic personality disorder
"narcissistic personality disorder believe that they're superior to others and have little regard for other people's feelings."
Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they're superior to others and have little regard for other people's feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism.
Narcissistic personality disorder is one of several types of personality disorders. Personality disorders are conditions in which people have traits that cause them to feel and behave in socially distressing ways, limiting their ability to function in relationships and in other areas of their life, such as work or school.
Narcissistic personality disorder treatment is centered around psychotherapy

Upside down on the sofa? Damn.

There's a downside to every upside,
two sides to every coin,
flipping end for end forever,
where inside and outside join.

For each and every person,
an angel is assigned,
to watch, to warn, to wave a wand,
or to help you change your mind.

So thinking of a person,
and what they represent,
appears to me, quite stupidly,
time and resources poorly spent.

I know it's just something to whoop about, in my state we have already enacted legislation that bars federal laws from infringement of our 2nd amendment rights. So has Texas and Florida a few others.
But with this country so divided it's not going to get much accomplished. It could speed us along our way to the worst times in American history. It also sets the stage for bitter fights between the States and Washington. Lame Duck Session I believe is what they call it.

Aura, my problem with what you say is that I'm by nature an optimist.

I believe we'll work things out.

We get our allotment of time here on earth, and we happen to be sharing it. We have to appreciate it, enjoy it, make the most of it.

We should aim to minimize conflict, if possible, while maintaining our core principles.
