WesTheDuck wrote: <quoted text> Japan has very strict gun laws. Most guns are outright banned. In 2008, Japan had 11 gun-related homicides. In 2008, the US experienced 12,000. http://www.theatlantic.com/international/arch... Here is a more in-depth look/study of Australia's gun control laws, implemented in 1996. They put up similar laws to what I said - only educated civilians with good reason could by a gun. They discovered that "Australia’s 1996 gun law reforms were followed by more than a decade free of fatal mass shootings, and accelerated declines in firearm deaths, particularly suicides. Total homicide rates followed the same pattern. Removing large numbers of rapid-firing firearms from civilians may be an effective way of reducing mass shootings, firearm homicides and firearm suicides." http://injuryprevention.bmj.com/content/12/6/... BTW I was originally against the gun laws here, I used the old catch cries "Out law guns and only outlaws will have guns", and that is right. If you are caught with a gun and you are not a licensed professional shooter then off to jail with you. It does make prosecuting criminals very easy. I am so glad I was wrong.

The last figure released by the Mexican government on the number of dead during its 4 1/2-year, military-led crackdown on organized crime came in January, at just over 34,000. It covered the period from the start of the drug war in December 2006 until the end of 2010. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/laplaza/2011/... Another good reason to legalize drugs.

There's a hint in YOUR post. "nothing to lose" You said "loose" but I know you meant "lose". If you had nothing to loose, that would literally mean that you would have nothing to take loose, or nothing to take off. Let me know when you're naked.

Aerobatty wrote: <quoted text> How about silencers. Think we should have the right to own silencers? After all, the noise can be damaging to unprotected ears. Neighbors might find the noise annoying. And you might actually get off a second shot at that deer you didn't put down with the first. After all, a silencer is only a little muffler. You'd have to beat somebody over the head with it to kill them. They banned here, I think owning one jail time no questions asked.

Keep in mind, I don't write poems on the fly for just anyone. "The Devil says, Do it Yourself" Covered by dust in a musty old shrine, hidden away and forgotten by time, stowed in a box and stacked on a shelf, exists a manual penned by the Devil himself. To be continued?
