Atheism requires as much faith as religion? bearvspuma : The only problem with this rationalization is that ita s assuming all athiests are so because theya re intelligent in the ways of science and reasoning and all people that believe in a form of god are unintelligent.

Nice, thanks.
I drive something a little different, but I appreciate these too.
That low rider song is one of my favorites. It reminds me of home (Houston). I love it and those low riders are too cool, lol.

Otay.
Thank you, I didn't take into account how many birthdays he had, lol.

<quoted text>This little joke was posted in FB via another Topix thread, and thought you might enjoy it too :)
***An atheist was seated next to a little girl on an airplane and he turned to her and said, "Do you want to talk? Flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger."
The little girl, who had just started to read her book, replied to the total stranger, "What would you want to talk about?"
"Oh, I don't know," said the atheist. "How about why there is no God, or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death?" as he smiled smugly.
"Okay," she said. "Those could be interesting topics but let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff - grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, but a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that is?"
The atheist, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence, thinks about it and says, "Hmmm, I have no idea." To which the little girl replies, "Do you really feel qualified to discuss God, Heaven and Hell, or life after death, when you don't know sh#t?"
And then she went back to reading her book.***
5 stars! Lol....:)

Did you know that eucalyptus bark is a good makeshift shampoo?

You have to soak it and it liquifies nicely.

In case you get stuck in a eucalyptus forest sometime.4594

Well, if Noah was, let's round it off to 600 years old, how many kids and grandkids did he have? That has to take up a lot of room on the ark, right? These people had no idea about contraceptives, right? You'd be lucky to get two guinea pigs and a parakeet on that boat.

Wood ash and rendered fat (sheep is best) make a great soap. In case your eucalyptus forest burns down and there's a sheep handy.

No stars.

When is the first and last time you ever sat down next to an atheist and you knew it?

I fly a lot.

When is the first and last time you ever sat down next to me and knew I was an atheist and a homosexual?

You never know when you get on a plane. You could be sharing an armrest with a homo god denier.

You should always carry the antibacterial wipes.

To say that God didnít create the heavens and the earth. Is like saying Beethoven didnít compose any of his renown pieces.
Iím not a music person my good Doctor. But I know a great Symphony piece must be composed. Beethoven is gone but the evidence of his work remains. The work of others like Gershwin are also remains.
Yet when it comes to the cosmos you give no credit to itís creator. I would say one of the great injustices to artist and composers. Would be to deny them credit for their creation.
You will say God is not real. But his work is on display for the world to see and enjoy. Great works just donít happen. Theyíre created by masterful composers.
You"re attempting to make a correlation between something KNOWN and something UNKNOWN, it's a desperate attempt to put your God in the naturalistic realm. Beethoven was real, there is much evidence for Beethoven, non, for your God.

You completely ignored my post on the composition of early Earths atmosphere and the role that ultraviolet light may have played in the formation of simple life. Instead you rant about how music composition somehow equates to your imaginary God creating the universe. As they say "You can lead a horse to water but"..........you know then rest. Sorry I wasted my time.

So you claim.
I have studied his scores at great length, he has a particular writing style, he did things no other composers of that time period dared to do. Besides pictorial evidence, busts, and extensive documentation of his works, we have scores done in his own hand, how much more evidence does one need? Also take particular notice that everything that can be said concerning evidence for Beethoven, cannot be said for either Jesus or your God.
