Unless you're talking about a gun specifically for crows.
That would be a "crow-magnum".
Actualy I am talking about a gun.A cave man with a gun.As opposed to a bird with a gun which is quite popular!!!!

Precedent, Eagle.
When the Supreme Court rules, it will set precedent.
Not precedence--precedent.
You'll have to hold your breath for the result..
.. currently, marriage laws are under the purview of individual states ..

.. when SCOTUS rules in favor of gay marriage, will marriage laws become federal ??..

Which way do you predict it's going to fall?
4 one way, 4 the other.

The 5th vote, Justice Kennedy, will decide.

He has been supportive of gay rights, so I am hopeful.

Yes, possibly.

They can hold that it is unconstitutional for a state to deny homosexuals the right to marry.

<quoted text>I don't think any religious person can claim to be a true skeptic. If they were, they wouldn't be religious. You may be interested in science, but I don't think you are a skeptic.
That depends on which definition of skeptic...

In this sense, I am a skeptic:
"a person who questions the validity or authenticity of something purporting to be factual. "

In this sense, I am not:
"a person who doubts the truth of a religion, especially Christianity, or of important elements of it. "

Ain't it funny that dictionary.com singles out Christianity in it's definition of skeptic...

Perhaps a skeptic wrote that defintion lol

Argh, the cro-magnum level of study ... it hurts my head.
No, we first thought it was finite, then we thought it was infinite .... the Hawking proposed that it was finite, which pretty much everyone agrees now ... however now we have this concept of a lot of, possibly infinite in number, universes all over the place just like ours, or perhaps ours is part of another. Do you read anything that is printed after 1930?
Thanks Dr Hawking!

Great video.
Very compelling, but it won't sway the hardcore believer.
It will just piss him off. Truth does that to the desperately faithful.

It didn't take long to correct, did it.
Yet, more than 3000 years later and the bible STILL hasn't been corrected.
And you claim the bible is better?!
What doesn't need correction will not be corrected.

I suppose you would say the hundreds of errors as contradictions give the bible character.

So, the states are following the Constitution just fine.

And, apparently, what does need correction won't be.

No rational person can believe the bible is without error.

Unless he's never read it.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Libra

Look after yourself today, dear Libra, because you don't have as much energy and self-confidence as usual. In fact, your spirits may be trailing around your ankles, making you feel wretched and listless. A pessimistic mood certainly won't help you cheer up, and you may be feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities or other people's problems. The fact is that you've got things out of proportion, but you'll feel better about them soon.
