Well, now.

*rolling up sleeves*

Ramapithecus was real. We have fossils.

Haeckel's Embryos remain controversial - but not disproven.

Piltown Man, yes, was a fraud - since disproven by, guess what, science.

Nebraska Man was described, even at the time, as "a figment of the imagination, of no scientific value, and undoubtedly inaccurate."

Java Man was real. Pithecanthropus erectus. We have those, too.

We have multiple examples of A. afarensis, in two subspecies - gracilis and robustus.

The Toumai Skull, Sahelanthropus tchadensis, is difficult to classify - it might be an ape, but it's definitely real.

Archaeoraptor was a product and artifact of the unlawful fossil trade in and from Xiasanjiazi, China - and it was debunked in a matter of three months. By science.

Now, did you have a point?

A species that lived roughly 4.5-2.5 million years ago. One of many Australopithecines.
No mistake here whatsoever.
<quoted text>
Yes, good job! This hominin lived slightly during Australopithecines and slightly overlapped with H. erectus. There's some argument over whether it should be included in the Homo clade.
<quoted text>
No mistake, that's a hominin.
<quoted text>
Yup, that's a fake alright!
(btw, species names are never capitalized, except at the beginnings of sentences. Capitalize like so: Genera species.)
Crap! Sorry, I answered your questions! Bad, bad me - forgive me, I'm hidingfromwork atm.
Dammit, I did all that one-handed typing for nothing?

Well, let's make sure that they read the whole damned bible!
When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property.(Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)
It's your property! You can murder it any time you like! Your god says so! Just make sure that they suffer for a day or two, first!
But that is where your mental fallacy lays. People do not need the bible to redeem their soul from hell.

You want to point out everywhere in the bible that goes against yours or the worlds morality. Jesus never told his followers to make sure people read the torah then get saved. Jesus said to go and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the whole world.

And this is what your mind cannot comprehend. This is where your mind is a roadblock to you.

I can go to the remote villages of the amazon and explain the gospel of Jesus Christ to that villager in their language. I don't have to show them a copy of the bible.

If they believe on Jesus Christ, God's Spirit the Holy Spirit, will guide that villager's heart into the the things of Christ until he dies and leaves this world.

That's the reason the chinese or pakistan, or iran can ban the bible in some areas, and people still are saved.

Its not the bible that saves people. Its the Spirit of God that saves people.

See dude, Jesus' death on the cross accomplished many many thing. But one vital thing it accomplished, is that NO MORE, was the Holy of Holiest where the Spirit of God resides can be accessed only in the tabernacle in a Jewish Temple. That Spirit, the Holy of Holiest, mankind can now receive, when they believe on Jesus Christ. <smile> That truth makes me shout Hallelujah!

So while you and every atheist and unbeliever on this site gets all lathered up motivated and hyped how you're going to bash these sorry old fundi Christians with whats in the bible and condemn them for embracing it.

God saves souls by simply belief, and His Holy Spirit.

The bible is important, I'm thankful that I have access to the bible and read it as much as I can. But its not the bible that saves souls.

God saves souls by those that believe on His Son. And with that belief, God promises the Holy Spirit, which seals that believer until death, and help, encourages, guides and performs other tasks in the believers life to finish their walk and relationship with Jesus Christ, until their last breath. Then eternal unimaginable blissful eternity.

I see you spend a lot of time condemning the bible, missing the whole point of the bible, which is to believe on Jesus Christ and be filled with the Holy Spirit of God. A person does no need the bible to accomplish that.

How dod you know that there is a god and what you have to do to please it? Think real hard, dude! Hmmm, someone had to read the.... Yes, the bible! If you did not have a guide to go by, there would be thousands of different sects of your religion! Oops! You already have thousands of different sects! Why is that, if you only have one holy spirit? Why did god have his laws written, if not for you to follow? Why did jesus say that you were to follow god's laws, if you didn't have to?

You, and every other believer, make up your own rules and you think everyone should buy into them. I won't. It is bs.

And what is that 'gospel', in Jesus' own words ?

BTW, don't use John. It is a well documented fraud.

Mark is the earliest and if it is important it will be in there. If not, it is either meaningless or an invention.

well of course the written word explains the who, the why, and the when. So of course the bible is fundamental and is needed.

But the bible cannot do the HOW. Only God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit can the How take place.

Different sects already explained. no two theologians will agree on every verse of the bible.

What is important is that Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son. No one can get to God without Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God. And only Jesus can forgive sins.

You can probably count on one hand how many sects of Christianity disagree with that.

As far as you buying it? eh, who said anything about that? we are having a discussion about religions and we are expressing sharing and explaining our views. You "buying" something, is not relevant to our conversation. that's your business. I don't buy Atheism, so frankly I don't expect you to buy Christianity.
