Atheism requires as much faith as religion? bearvspuma : The only problem with this rationalization is that ita s assuming all athiests are so because theya re intelligent in the ways of science and reasoning and all people that believe in a form of god are unintelligent.

There is no complete infinity that can be measured.
Then why the debate?

And why would it take an infinite amount of time to prove infinity? Is that more circular logic or what.....

Circular reasoning.

Your statement should read:

"There is no completed infinity in physical reality, and there can be none".

In a physical infinity, all the parts would be infinite.

So "less than", "equal to", and "larger than" would be the same.

This can be true in no coherent representation of reality.

Therefore, infinity cannot be included in any coherent representation of reality.

WRONG
Time is not "infinitely" moving anywhere.
The next "now" is the next finite sum of time, and the next one is, and always will be.
There is no point in time when the addition of another unit surpasses finite and becomes infinite.
Never. It's impossible.
Congratulations. Just when I thought you could not think of another way to lose this argument, you came up with one.
Amazing.
You can't have the past without a future , doofus.
Use your computer's calculator and give us the last number possible you can count to.
Tell us how many seconds to the last second, there will ever be.
Tell us when the final calendar will be issued because time runs out after that.

The cosmological event horizon is the actual physical completed infinity, impossible to measure.
It exists beyond your comprehension.

Give me the figure of space curvature the amount of time dilation the total gravity and density predicted by general relativity within a singularity.
http://imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/ask_astro/a...
Space curvature is an effect of gravity affecting the ability to observe. Time is nothing but a measute of motion relative to an observing point. Your time dilation is just a confusion, as is that idea proposed of leaving and returning younger that is so popular.

There are, a lot of errors in cosmological observation caused by math models using fixed quantities derived from observation locally in this gravity well. Gravity affects the geometry and dimensions of atomic structure. Your unit of "1" here will vary within the universe. That relates to your beloved infinity.

Do some thinking instead of cutting and pasting.

Because you can't count to infinity, in a finite amount of time.
It's not circular, it's reality. If you could count to infinity, it would be finite.

Time gets real confused when you have to translate it into a value.

See how long it takes to say 906,544,633,321,488,947,213 when counting seconds.

How many digital places before your counting machine working at the speed of light trips over its self?

You can tick, tick, tick, but you have to turn them into a value to use in calculations.

Creationism is circular reasoning - first you lie about god, then you tell some more lies when everyone realises you are going around in circles.

When you are caught, you either say "bwahaha" or tell more lies about atheists.

When you are caught lying about atheists, you start talking about catholic hitler.

When people point out that hiltler was catholic, you start taking about neocon politics.

Face buck & Dave you and your creationist cult are jokes and nothing more.

Are you really that stupid? The value is the number you wrote. Saying it out is not a value, that's just the name of the number.

What a complete ignoramus!!!!!

Not content with not believing Atheists are real, these creationist now deny infinity itself!!!

That's Cantor's philosophy - the unending list of countable natural numbers. He disagreed with you, called it "countable infinity". It's hogwash. Every number that's naturally countable is finite. There's no way that numbers can count 1,2,3,4,5,6......infinity. No way.

The only thing that's actual about infinity is the concept of it. Outside the concept, infinity doesn't exist.

If the universe is infinite, it counted to infinity. In a finite amount of time.

It expanded like this: 1,2,3,....infinity.

Why would you say you can't count to infinity but the universe can expand to infinity?

It's the same thing.

Infinity doesn't exist you say?

Then tell me, what is the mass / density of black hole?

It has zero volume and sucks everything up better than your hoover.

Or do you ignorantly deny black holes exist too?
