Ignorant people who think the earth is 3000 years old because of their Creationist mental illness, should really stop sharing their opinions.
That means you Catcher.
Your stuck in the 50’s.

That generation is dying off.

We no longer have round TV’s with rabbit ears.

And ice boxes that require a block of ice.

Today, milk comes from trucks and not cows.

The bombing of Pearl Harbor was in 1941.

That was 73 years ago. Your way behind the times.

You are a day late and a dollar short.

She looks female. If she were a little younger, I'd do her.

Btw I remember I made some post about a view I had concerning homosexuality and RR responded it was a good post and Ian's responded to that saying "that was gay" I literally laughed out loud when I read that. It was funny and brilliantly timed. There was no malicious intent and everybody knew it. Some 'jokes' are meant to disguise a true feeling. Others are just funny if someone has a sense of humor, including towards themselves.
Thanks.

Truth be told, I loved the tampon and cotton joke, too. I just don't know what to do with it. I really don't want to hurt anybody, nor be mistaken for a racist. I also don't want to throw out a good joke of there is a way to use it without risking either of the above. I'm pretty sure that Catcher and Happy Lesbo would recommend that I never tell that joke. I'm conflicted.

I laugh at funny racist jokes. I laugh at funny white jokes. I laugh at funny prison jokes and at funny addict jokes. Why? Because they are funny.
If anybody thinks they are 'better' than that then I say bullshit. It's one thing not to tell certain jokes around groups of people you don't know or they don't know you. It can give the impression it's ok to denigrate certain groups or even expected. But when you are hanging out with people you know they are just jokes that don't mean anything All this phony piety is a bit much at times Try to keep things at least a little real. It makes life more fun
I see your point. I see theirs, too. I'm conflicted.

Indeed, a Secular Humanist will not do that-- because secular humanism is life-centric. In direct contrast to the Abrhamic religions, which are death-centric. So naturally a humanist would not retaliate to those who treated them so evil in the past.
That's how I feel after I think, but not before. I don't want to be a guy who retaliates. I understand how it is a destructive act. But the instinct to do so anyway is strong.

You really think he needed a teleprompter for that? He didn't call out any real specifics, he named Bishop Ussher , the "Terasaurus Rex" lol and the 65 million years old supposed fossil. That's all "common knowledge"
I think he was using one. I have to assume that he thought he needed it.

Did you think I was wrong? Did you think he wasn't reading that stuff?

I probably did, when I first saw it.

Around that time I watched a lot of Ricky Gervais' videos and may have posted some links to them also.

I still haven't watched the video. I saw the post.

I doubt he says anything I wouldn't expect, but I'll watch it anyways.

The social support helps to overcome certain instincts, which under other circumstances I would follow. You probably know what I mean. You can't make omelets....
