Disregarding the convincing argument of the first post, TFA is a waste of time. Another rehash of what theists think atheists are.

Funny how they never bring up atheists have read the bible and became an atheist -because- of the bible.
So because you couldn't understand the bible you threw in the towel and became an atheist because it was easier to understand?

The buybull pretty much made it a no-brainer for me. I believed until I found, the contradictions, and outright fallacies. Lucky me, I have reverted to my default stage of non believer, one without theism: atheist.
Now I will never be forced to kill anyone because they are from a different sect than I was.
So you also could not understand the Bible and turned to atheism?

I didn't "choose" to be an atheist any more than I "chose" to believe in gravity or "chose" not to believe in Santa Claus. That's where the evidence, or lack thereof, and logic led me. One can choose to exercise volition to believe in something for which there is no evidence, as theists do, but if one does not practice intentional self deception or is not brainwashed from an early age, and simply lets the evidence lead to the conclusion, this is just where you end up.
You sound like you're not an atheist.
You talk like an agnostic.

Atheism is not a "choice". It is the inevitable result of being educated and grasping the facts.

Religion requires wilful ignorance, poor education, self-delusion, mental deficiency, and a denial of reality.
Then why are you losing so many of your faith? Atheist lose more then any religion. They have the lowest retention rate.

Neat. You say I'm dumb and I surrendered because I'm lazy.

Sounds like a case of projecting onto your opponents your own attributes.

You seem to lack even basic understanding of quantum physics. Anyone who understand science understands GOD. GOD is not some old guy that we can't see, GOD is everything we see and everything we don't see.

GOD is all that is, there is no outside.

Really? Then tell me, what is the energy of a black hole?

There's all kinds of energies from black holes. But I'm sure Hawking Radiation is what you want to hear.

I just asked how much energy is produced by a black hole, it's a relatively simple quantum physics answer.

Everyone is born an atheist and they would stay that way without religious brainwashing.

Atheism equals reality.

Theism equals magical bull****.

The Holocaust was like a modern inquisition, killing all who did not accept Jesus. Though more Jews were killed then any other it should be noted that MANY ARYAN pagans and atheists were murdered for their non-belief in Christ.]

We all were. It is the human default, no theism, until and unless one is indoctrinated.

Do you understand that your god may make you eat your children? It doesn't take much more, than that bit of biblical understanding, to make an new non believer, from a previous believer.

No, it was because I understood the buy bull.

I read it, all of it. And then I read it again, and again. I could not believe that the god I had been led to believe in, was not at all, the bible god. The buy bull god is a whole 'nother thing than what the churches present him as.

It is not a faith, and not a religion, it is the complete absence of either. It is the default, all babies are born without theism, and many are born to theistic families. So, how soon should the parents begin indoctrination, to quickly do away with the atheist toddlers?

If Sunday school taught, that "god will make Mummie and Daddy cook and eat you", instead of "Jewsus loves you", the baby atheist couldn't be drug back kicking and screaming into that lunacy.

Truth in all advertising, should be enforced, but since that will never happen, in the churches, I am more than thrilled to help reverse the lies of Christain indoctriniation.
There is no god who loves you, but there is a group of spellcaster/priest/witch doctor/minister/Ju-Ju men who need you to keep believing, so that they never have to resort to actually working for a living.

Well I went to the grocery store one day and they had a booth set up offering free samples if chilled theism and atheism. They poured a cup of each while keeping both bottles covered so I couldn't see which was which. The first cup tasted stale and outdated with a strong taste of bigotry, ignorance and hated with a hint of kill others for not believing.

The second cup was fresh, tasty, well thought out and went well with anything.

I chose cup two and the tester pulled off the bags revealing atheism! I then got a coupon for a dollar off a 24 pack!

Nothing turns out more non believers than cruelly reading the bible.
