Why Atheism Will Replace Religion

Aug 27, 2012 Full story: News24 14,385

Please note that for this article "Atheism" also includes agnostics, deists, pagans, wiccans... in other words non-religious.

You will notice this is a statement of fact. And to be fact it is supported by evidence (see references below). Now you can have "faith" that this is not true, but by the very definition of faith, that is just wishful thinking. Full Story

Well muck,Its very important to know who created what. Now we dont know who created the universe yet.We do know the bible was written by men in the desert. We do know most all the storys in the bible were coppied from ancient sumerian writings thousands of years earlier.

01. May I ask from where you got "the proof" that Torah was not written down till 300 BCE? Why do you not present it and become a candidate for "Next Year's" Nobel Prize? A special category for "People discovering their own invented hallucinations"!!
There is no "God of Bible" or "God of Gospel" or "God of Vedas" etc. There is only One God and One Creator and besides Him there is None.
02. I can call it the "stupid ness" of Pseudo Scientist community, who are so lazy as to not be in the business of "Why" these things were created. They are so busy in finding out "how" that they have no reflections on "Why".
They are just like "little children" playing with toys and dismantling it and looking at its interior….having no time for "Toy maker" who is standing next to them and watching all the while what they do.(a very imperfect analogy, mind you).
03. It is strange that you are being repeatedly being slapped with evidences upon evidences about Creator's Existence (each new observation of "how" brings another evidence of "why"), but still you seem unaware of it.
That is why I said that those who deny the existence of Creator are most illogical and unreasonable people on the face of this earth.
In fact these people are 'bewildered" by so many available Models of Creator (which is due to ignorance of so called Theist people) that they come to wrong conclusion that there is no Creator.
04. Thanks for that Wikipedia article. But it has little relation to the subject under discussion. Who Created this "Vast amount of Energy" at Big Bang? You people are lacking in Imaginations!!
Your God doesn't exist.

That would be called a jockstrap sweetcakes. I don't have any. Was this meant as some kind of insult?

I believe I'll take it as a compliment.

Thanks.

If you deny the Creator, then you will always be looking for 'Who Created" This Universe!!
No one needs to look, for what is not there. Imagine only looking at what is there. We don't look for a "who", who is claimed to have created the universe. Being atheist, is not in any way the same as being an evolutionist.

When you can learn the differences in being atheist, an evolutionist and a non-believer, you may have a chance of understanding why you again, make no sense.

I dont deny a creator muck,I deny the bible god of creation. The sumerians wrote we were created by a race of beings on the tenth planet to be their slaves for the gols mines in africa. That makes more sense than a god that wants us to suffer and worship and praise and kiss his assss for ever and ever.

Sadly we humans as a species are great at popping out uneducated wastrels whose pathetic parents abuse them with religion and self-righteousness because threats of hell are all that keep their brats in check.

An answer in hours is specific enough - just to make it easy for you.
Hint: If you can't answer how long energy has existed, you cannot say that it cannot be created.
As long as time. You do the math.

Yeh, because its a "church" by name just for someit to call it. Its not a denomination or organised religion thing. Its a group led by a prophet who takes direction from the Holy Spirit and not from a book or bunch of leaders who act like theyre running a political party or a business.
Its simple, yes to the 10 commandments, no to the 7 deadly sins, and open ur mind, heart + soul in meditative prayer to the Holy Spirit which connects u to God which is the lifeforce {eternal spring} for ur soul. This dont mean ur go to Heaven for sure, it means ur in with a lotta more chance. Non-believing souls can go to Heaven 2, depends on the state of their souls.
What are the Seven Deadly Sins and where in the Bible are they listed?

As for the Ten Commandments; well, they're hardly absolute rules, are they?

You're right.

Moses actually went up the mountain three times:

The first time Moses went up the mountain, he came back down with no stone tablets. He just recited what God was supposed to have told him and that is the list of do's and don'ts in Exodus 20.

Moses went up the mountain a second time. This time he came back with stone tablets engraved with ten commandments which he smashed in a fit of pique.

Moses went back up a third time to get a replacement set of tablets which God duly provided for him. These commandments were the same as the ones on the smashed tablets so it's safe to say that they were more important than the first, verbal edicts.

There was no outlawing of killing and stealing on these ten divine enactments. What they did contain were orders that the Jews had to observe the Feast of Weeks (whatever that was) as well as not to cook a kid goat in its mother's milk.

If you look at the full ten in Exodus 34:28 and Deuteronomy 4:13 you'll see that the commandments inscribed on stone tablets were quite different to what is commonly regarded as the Ten Commandments.

So, the stone tablets kept in the Ark of the Covenant were the ones that Moses brought down on his third trip.
