Why Atheism Will Replace Religion

Aug 27, 2012 Full story: News24 14,477

Please note that for this article "Atheism" also includes agnostics, deists, pagans, wiccans... in other words non-religious.

You will notice this is a statement of fact. And to be fact it is supported by evidence (see references below). Now you can have "faith" that this is not true, but by the very definition of faith, that is just wishful thinking. Full Story

First to update your education it is spelled Bible.
Ok now the I have enhanced your education tell me where the creation fact is contradicted.
Given it load of bull, I like to call it buybull. But if you insist, I will call it bible. There is two different creation stories in the bible. In the first story it list god walking, but not creating water. It then goes on to list the creation of the earth, the plants, animals, and then the story says that God created humans, male and female, without mentioning who came first or that women came from the womb of the man.
Then comes the second story. God creates Adam. Adam needs company, so the omnipotent God creates animals. Despite his omnipotence, the magical skydaddy did not know at first that animals would not be a good helpmeet for man. It is only after Adamw as displeased that he created Eve.

<quoted text>Perhaps you should read the bibull:-

Genesis 6:19–20:
‘And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every sort into the ark to keep them alive with you. They shall be male and female. Of the birds according to their kinds, and of the animals according to their kinds, of every creeping thing of the ground, according to its kind, two of every sort shall come in to you to keep them alive.’

Genesis 7:2–3:
‘Take with you seven pairs of all clean animals, the male and his mate, and a pair of the animals that are not clean, the male and his mate, and seven pairs of the birds of the heavens also, male and female, to keep their offspring alive on the face of all the earth.’
I wonder if the odd number included an extra male or extra female.

Maybe god made room for one gay animal each.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

So you are saying the message in your bibull depends on which version you read. In that case how do you know you picked up the right one?
There is only one version , in hebrew , the original version .
If you read it in english , you get only translation that the translator understand while in Hebrew , the bible has more than 70 meanings for every sentence in it .
I can give you more than one example how you english speakers just read it like a kids fairy tales while in hebrew it has more depth .

You should read the Bagavad Gita in it's original Sanskrit.

Actually I've read the Hebrew OT (and Greek NT)... their still fairy tales.

Yes , it's you English speakers who put crap into everything that belongs to the jewish people .
You call it "bible" or "bi-bull" (2 bulls) beacuse you used to be idol worshippers .
And still you think that you understand anything from the Torah ...?

You don't know me, yet you immediately start passing judgment on me. Idol worshiper, really? How lame.

I've studied your theology, and lots of others ... majored in it in college back in the '70s.

You on the other hand have blinders on and only know your one little mythology.

If that gets you through the day, good for you.

Some of us (more and more all the time) don't need or want to believe in invisible friends.

I didn't judge you , but it's you wgo degrade other people's believes .
I don't want to meet you , i'm not intrested , but thank's !
Mythology ? invisible friends ?
It's just a proof you have no idea what are you talking about .
The 70s is almost ancient times , they (college) filled your brain with bullshit and it is still sparkinlg inside your head .
You will never understand the REAL meanings of the Torah , you can just understand the mythology and the invisible friends thing beacuse you can't read hebrew .
nice try anyway.

Why not denigrate childish beliefs in fairy tales?

I believe that your holy scripture (and all the others) are nothing more than poorly written kids' fairy tales.

Now, according to you, you must respect my belief.

So, respect it. Stop arguing with me about MY beliefs and go away.
