It would seem the pro-life movement has acquired an unlikely supporter. On Wednesday, Richard Dawkins, a vocal proponent of atheism and the author of The God Delusion, posted a provocative tweet about abortion: With respect to those meanings of "human" that are relevant to the morality of abortion, any fetus is less human than an adult pig.

What does that have to do with this?

Do you feel the same way about the SCOTUS when they ruled on RvW?

You don't appear to have a problem with the fact that men decided RvW. What if those same men had decided against abortion?

No, parolee/idiot.
I INTENTIONALLY included 'affirm" only in my last post to indicate that the law does not affirm your position that the fetus has rights. You insisting that the unborn has rights that negate the rights of women is just your misogynistic fantasy.
I Never claimed that.

I don't have a problem that SCOTUS, made that decision. If they had made a different decision, what would my re-action be? We still have a lot of work, to do.

Roe v Wade decided legality, but either way abortion would still be a thriving business. Whether it's coat hangers or medically trained and available personnel, women still will choose for themselves.

Crick is not SCOTUS, and is not entrusted with that decision

Stealing other's work without giving credit and link again I see. The sad thing is there is no way you can even understand what you stole there because you have demonstrated to not know basic English. Did you ever figure out what the term secular means?

Probably not.

So then according to your scripture we should have no military, and should never start wars. So that leads to the question of why did your god command us to attack Iraq?
Nope. We are allowed to defend ourselves. The unborn can't defend themselves by the way.

Really? You think that Iraq was a threat to us? You really don't know much. But, killing is killing, thus, your god said that any war is against it's will, yet, most wars are started with leaders claiming that this same god commanded it. You cannot deny that, your god is either breaking it's own laws, or ... you worshipers are delusional.

Murder

TAMPA, Fla., May 16 (UPI)-- A Florida man facing a murder charge admitted he tricked his pregnant girlfriend into taking an abortion pill so she would lose the fetus, prosecutors say.

John Andrew Welden, 28, of Tampa is charged with murder under a rarely used federal statute, as well as tampering with a prescription, McClatchy-Tribune Regional News reported Thursday.

Assistant U.S. Attorney W. Stephen Muldrow told U.S. Magistrate Anthony Porcelli during a hearing Wednesday the case was "one of the most shocking and premeditated cases I've seen."

Muldrow said Welden's girlfriend informed him in March she was pregnant. Welden wanted the woman to get an abortion, but she told him she planned to raise the child without support from him.

Welden had her see his father, Stephen Welden, a practicing OB/GYN doctor, who informed her the unborn child was viable and healthy, Muldrow said.

The younger Welden forged his father's signature to a prescription for Misoprostol, an abortion drug sold under the brand name Cytotec. He then put a label on the bottle that falsely indicated the drug was an antibiotic, telling his girlfriend his father had diagnosed her with a bacterial infection.

The woman took the pill before going to work the next day. She began experiencing abdominal cramps and bleeding and was taken to the hospital, where she miscarried.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies said Welden confessed to giving the woman the abortion pill and tampering with the bottle.

As usual you refuse to provide a link to the work you stole. Again this has nothing to do with abortion wingnut. The guy premeditated am attack that could have seriously injured or even killed the girl. A far cry away from a woman going to an abortion doctor based on her own decision.

You Bush loving, Fox News worshipping idiots are a dying breed as upcoming elections will continue to show.

Oh did you ever figure out what an adage is? Probably not.

Go educate yourself you ignorant c@cks@cker and we will laugh at you less.

For some time I've been expecting to see a particular secularist conceit expressed in a particular way - and late last month, Richard Dawkins finally came through, writes Scott Stephens on ABC Ethics and Religion Online. Without any direct provocation that I can see, apart from whatever bad feelings remain from a bruising encounter late last year on al-Jazeera, Dawkins tweeted, on April 21:
"Mehdi Hasan admits to believing Muhamed flew to heaven on a winged horse. And New Statesman sees fit to print him as a serious journalist."
Dawkins's views on religion are by now extremely well-known, to the point of cultural saturation thanks to the media's fixation with him. Dawkins makes for good copy - that's why journalists love him.
But the dogmatic assertions and withering dismissals that made Dawkins a media-darling and The God Delusion an international bestseller lend themselves particularly well to the anarchic medium of Twitter, where his unjustifiable claims can shrug off any residual requirement for justification. At the hand of his hundreds of thousands of followers, who rehash and #hashtag with a well-nigh evangelical fervour, Dawkins's tweets take on the force of a Delphic pronouncement.
