Richard Dawkins tweets on abortion: ‘any fetus is less human than an adult pig’

Mar 16, 2013 Full story: freerepublic.com 1,829

It would seem the pro-life movement has acquired an unlikely supporter. On Wednesday, Richard Dawkins, a vocal proponent of atheism and the author of The God Delusion, posted a provocative tweet about abortion: With respect to those meanings of "human" that are relevant to the morality of abortion, any fetus is less human than an adult pig.

That's hilarious coming from a man who is supposed to be an evolutionary biologist. A human fetus represents humanity at it's most definitive moment, the joining of two peoples' genetic information becoming an all new being, genetically unique from every other living specimen on Earth. How he can call that new entity non-human is beyond logical considering each conception of human life IS human evolution. Without this mix of DNA there would be no human species but, he has his "agenda" to achieve, doesn't he?

Snot, wart, pimple, skin tag and hemorrhoid all are human. But they, like the foetus are not human beings. There are missing components that can result in only one of these having even the possibility of becoming a human being, but until it does, it is a parasite.

Exactly we all were, and doubly so for the unwanted pregnancies.

There is no symbiotic relationship, unless and until the woman desires that type of relationship. Even then it is a mental more than a psychical boon to the pregnant woman. She is being harvested by a parasite. Now that might not be the romantic words that you would use, but it is reality, you skank.

So you are one of those personist cultists? Not surprising, considering how crazy you sound.

Skin tags and warts do not have a separate genetic identity from me like a fetus/baby does. Keep trying to perceive reality and maybe you will finally get how offensive your lust for innocent blood really is.

Nope, that doesn't describe me at all, in fact I have no idea what you are referring to. Does skank describe you?

I am very much pro-life, but I do understand that it is not my choice to make, nor can I condemn another's choice, for I cannot truthfully do that without knowing all the factors involved. And that information, would be classified as NOMDB*, I also am a realist

You cults love to take things out of context.

Dawkins further said: "Human" features relevant to the morality of abortion include ability to feel pain, fear etc & to be mourned by others

I mourned my last dog more than I would an early miscarriage.

Why? Did you lose your excuse to go to a pub and have a black cherokee speaking american cook serve it vegetables?
Doesnt matter does it? You'll just find another pet to neglect.

I think I know what Dawkins is trying to get at. Adult pigs are more "devleoped" than a human fetus which early on is just a few cells, no heart, no brain, just a lot of nothing. So does it realy make sense to feel more for the fetus?

No?

" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personism" ;

But it perfectly describes your attitude towards fetal/unborn rights to life.
