Article 13, part 1:

States Parties shall take all effective and appropriate measures with a view to abolishing traditional practices prejudicial to the health of children.

Tell me which country observes this "human right" convention that they apparently all signed!

What do you mean by "African immigrants" ?
Legal or illegal?

What is the alternative of not treating them? Do you think HIV will suddenly go away?

Does this mean the idiot who laughs at people committing suicide thinks he is a christian?
I think your religion is trollish.
No, I wasn't laughing at the neurotic fool. People who commit suicide over nothing are not funny.
Whining politically correct foreigners who try to lynch my countrymen for having a sense of humour are also not funny.
Harmless prank calls are funny.
You and the other wankers having a hissy fit over those Australians you are so jealous off are also funny.
Christianity, contrary to the ill informed opinion of yapping atheists, does not mean silent approval of every idiocy. It does mean that I wont kill you are rape you or rob you or leave you to starve in the gutter or bash you for amusement or try to take away your rights.

Without the old testament, the new makes no sense. In Christian teaching, original sin in the garden of eden cause the separation of God from man. Jesus was the sacrifice to redeem mankind from original sin and restore God's relationship with man. Without a literal garden of eden and adam and eve, there is no fall of man, and hence no need for redemption. The whole Jesus story is built up on the garden of eden mythology. Can you agree that Christian theology is fatally flawed now we understand the Genesis stories to be myth.
Also the gospel accounts are not reliable history but four contradictory letters written by anonymous Christians decades after the events which they purport to record. i.e. the evidence is wholly unreliable, so you cannot say for definate whether Jesus existed or if he did, what was recorded as his words is reliable. This is why, to me, Christianity is not a valid belief for a critical thinker.
Ugh, this is like talking to a child.
Whether the Old Testament is literal or metaphorical makes no difference. It resonates with the very real problem of good verses evil.
Is there anybody in their right mind who doubts that evil is real?
The revolutionary vision of Christ was so profound it formed a large part of the moral foundation of the modern western world.
It is one of the anchors of our civilisation.
Every time it has been rejected by conceited people in favour of their own utopias there has been trouble.
Hitler rejected it in favour of a might is right vision of the merciless superman.
Trouble.
The Communists rejected it in favour of the mob and a greasy bureaucracy pretending to save people "the rich".
Trouble.
The modern Socialists continue the Communist shtick with a less violent mob of shrieking politically correct thugs and a shit load of nanny state legislation to save everybody from themselves.
Trouble.
Individuals conned by the "counter culture" propagandists into rejecting Christianity drift into all kinds of fads and cults looking for something to take its place.
They'll try veganism, feminism, drugs, booze, yoga, anything. Well, almost anything. They wont try the way of life that worked so well in the west for centuries because they have been brainwashed against our traditional ways by decades of loony left propaganda.

No it isn't, for a long time Christianity held scientists by their balls threatening them with being burned alive if they went against Christian doctrine, it's been the free thinkers of this world who have driven our progress.
From the 18th century onwards this Christian country has seen massive advancements in all ways. As far as I'm aware lots of other Christian countries have made great strides in advancement as well.

How many scientists these days are Christian? I personally have a scientist friend that is a church goer. Would he waste his time if he didn't believe?

The victorians laid the foundations of our present education system and I'm pretty sure they were Christian.

But if you look back even further, it is the Islamic world that gave the Christian west a foundation on which to build advanced technologies.
Medical advancements, mathematical advancements and scientific study were all part and parcel of the Islamic world while we in the west were still blood letting and burning witches.
At some point in their history, the leaders of the islamic worl saw science as an afront to God and that was that.
We have benefitted greatly from the scientific advances Islam made in the Middle ages.
I would suggest pre Islam personally. Islam just finished off any advancement those of the Middle East were making as it spread its religious views throughout the region.

JW's are the worst. Mind you, it's good fun to invite them in when they knock at your door. Just tell them you're about to celebrate the Black Mass and you need a sacrifice for the altar.

Absolutely
Christianity was dead set against education.
After all, we only need to look at the reaction of the Christian church when the first European (China had them centuries before) printing presses started to produce bulk runs of the Bible. Prior to the printing press, the church had a monopoly on the production of documents and books. They also had the authority and influence to ensure that any documents it deemed to be heretical could be seized and destroyed.
Thankfully and despite the best efforts of the church to prevent it, printing presses took book copying out of the hands of the church. This led to more and more secular publications which would shake the foundations of centuries of Christian thought.
I blame the Pope. Henry VIII done us all a great favour by taking the Church away from Rome.

if Islam was SO advanced in the past what happened to it?
a lot of the Islamic world would appear to be stuck in the 5th century.
After the Ottoman empire collapsed in the 15 century, Islamic leaders returned back to the days of religious dogma. This stifled scientific development to the point that the Muslim world now appears backward and stuck in the past.

A shame really because matehmatical knowledge in the ancient Islamic world was so advanced for its time.

I'm married to a French lady that was schooled to a very high level by French taxpayers. She has never paid a Franc/Euro of that back to France. That's because she has been in constant work in the UK and paid all her taxes to the UK.

Blair's experiment failed. His "guaranteed" ghetto votes for labour are now going to the likes of Galloway's respect party, whilst his white trash vote is going to racist bastards like the BNP.

I don't care what colour someone is, or where they're from, but if someone doesn't want to go down the pub and join in, if someone doesn't like Secular England's values, they should f**k off somewhere else.

if you look at the map in the Daily Mail you can see which are the whitest parts of the UK. nearly all the immigrants are concentrated in cities, which in turn drives out existing white native peoples. Even white immigrants are driven out by this. But there are several almost 100% white areas in the UK. If anyione says we imported Somalis, etc , to fill jobs they are wrong. Most of the Blair inspired immigration was of illiterate peasants from Stone Age countries. We could have got ALL the jobs filled by white Europeans or latin Americans . The whole thing is Blair's fault, he wanted to make Britain "vibrant and Diverse".
