Same could be said for the theory of evolution with the Missing Link Of The Gaps Fallacy. The religitards just keep attacking science thinking that it will somehow disprove or negate atheism. Just another sad attempt of the usual God Of The Gaps Fallacy.
But how many of them are inhabited? And if this "god" does exist there is no prove it would even care about humanity. We are just one planet out of trillions among trillions in this universe.
What does atheism offer if thats the case?god is simply a human explanation to questions that they didn't know about or understand at the time.
"Yet to be scientifically explained phenomena"?
Todays fashionable and politically correct explanation is "global warming"Example "god did it" People used to think back in the ancient times when volcanoes went off it was caused by the gods wrath. Some people today believe that god causes earthquakes and tsunamis.
Even nature had to have a point of origin.Yet all reasonable people know that there is no higher forces to these things and it's all part of nature. As humans understand the universe more and more the less likely there are no of god/gods.
For the supposed 'big bang' to occur there had to be fuel, oxygen and heat. If you were to say that all there is, is the physical then there would have to be physical components. But if there was nothing? Then how could this be?
There had to be one point of origin for the physical world as we know it, one that could bring forth the physical world with its nature and laws. This could only be done from design, to bring creation from the void.
Whether you like it or not, that point of origin is GOD.
