Except? That >NOTHING< in the bible is actually... historical.
Or accurate, for that matter-- it's fiction.
So you lie yet again.
Two lies is enough-- I quit reading your filth at this point.
Your just showing how uneducated you are... again!

Of course not...
he Bible is the only ancient, well-organized and authentic framework in which to fit all the facts of history. The Bible does not record all history.
In fact, there are huge gaps in the history contained in the Bible.
Yet, without the Bible and what it reveals from prehistory, ancient history and prophecy which is history written in advance you cannot truly understand any history.
No worldly source can help us as the Bible does...
..and to think otherwise is foolish...
Many rational people understand lots of "history, prehistory and ancient history" through disciplines like archaeology and paleo-anthropology just fine without the fairy tales of buybull.

The creation of the earth ended 6000 years ago, we are living in the end of the seventh day of rest. Each "day" was 6000 years so the earth is about 42,000 years old. When the Messiah comes it will be the eighth day, the beginning of a new week.

I will make this as simple as possible..

*The Bible is literally filled with hundreds of specific, detailed prophecies that were written hundreds of years before their fulfillment. In fact 27% of the Bible contains what was predictive prophecy at the time that it was written. And the authors of the Bible did not just predict some vague things like Nostradamus or Jeanne Dixon (who have proven to have been false prophets over and over again), they were very specific.

Consider a few of the Old Testament prophecies made regarding the Messiah (the Savior that God promised He would send into the world) hundreds of years before they were fulfilled.

1)Moses (in the Bible) will be found in the Egyptian records

2)Scientists have in fact found not just traces but massive evidence that the Children of Israel were there but that even the route they took matches exactly the Biblical account. They just dated it wrongly.

3)Fact, every single event mentioned in the book of Joshua can be found in the archaeology of the land exactly. When the book states that a city was burned, the burnt layer is found; when destroyed by conquest, the destruction is there. The evidence is there and totally accurate.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL EVIDENCE

Archaeological discoveries could never prove that the Bible is divinely inspired, but they do help build a compelling case for the HISTORICAL RELIABILITY of the Bible. Of course many people today think that the Bible is a book of mythology, that the persons, places and events mentioned in the Bible were inventions by the authors. Well, the advance of archaeology has Proven them Wrong.

I have plenty more, but IMHO 'none of you' want to see the truth.. If you have legitimate questions, I will answer them as I am 'very' familiar with 'History, the OT/NT as well.. if not...scroll by, do not waste my time... I will continue posting as I see fit... Have a nice day!

Genesis 2:4 "These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth". I believe in both creation and evolution, and man was supposed to have been created in the year 4004 bce so we're in the year 6018. If the seventh day is approximately 6000 years, so are the other six. The creation of the world was set in motion in six literal days but the universe is much older. The week is universal and it comes from the creation story.

From:-

How do you get:-

Well done you have just created a new creation story.

Your post comes down to three things:

1) There are prophecies in the Bible.
2) The Bible mentions historical figures which are referenced elsewhere
3) The Bible refers to real places and real events.

Prophecies:
Biblical prophecies can be divided into the follow categories:
- Written about after the fact
- Acted out by people with knowledge of the prophecy
- Non-specific enough to mean anything

You can't have a book that contains both the prophecy and the fulfillment of the prophecy within it's history and expect us to take it seriously. The Harry Potter series contains a lot of prophecies that are fulfilled within the series. Greek Mythology is filled with prophecies which are fulfilled within the mythology. That doesn't mean that the stories as described are real.

People with fore knowledge of a prophecy can act out a prophecy without it being prophetic. If I made a prophecy that someone would climb to the top of the great pyramid and scream "Blue penguin!", it would not be prophetic if someone READ that and then went and did it. Most of the prophecies which get fulfilled in the New Testament but were laid down in the Old Testament fit this category.

Prophecies must be extremely specific to be considered valid. "A man will come carrying a burden. He will labor and people will be aware of him." That's NOT a good prophecy. That could apply to HALF the world population. Flowery language, or "when the prophecy says this it means that" are disqualifiers.

Historical:
Yes the Bible mentions people and places IN THE LOCATION AND TIME PERIOD in which the Bible was written. Harry Potter mentions London. The Iliad mentions Troy.

If the Bible mentioned the civilizations of N and S America despite the fact that the authors could not possibly have known about them, THEN you would have something.

People writing about people they know and places where they live is not evidence that they are divinely inspired. It's evidence that they live in that place and witnessed events that took place.

In fact, the Iliad is a BETTER example than the Bible. For centuries people believed the Iliad was pure fiction and that Troy never existed. There was never a time in which people didn't believe the Middle East existed.

Since the Iliad references a city which was unknown to modern people until we went out and found it, does that mean that the Iliad is 100% true? If so, then the Greek Gods are real.

If not, then your argument about the Bible is invalidated.

Bullshyt.

100% filth-- that's all you write-- filth.

You are literally living in a fantasy-delusion, one you desperately need to infect onto others.

Not ONE thing in your horrid bible qualifies as prophecy.

NOT ONE.

A REAL prophecy would be: "in 2008, the first black man will be elected to president in the largest country in a continent that is not yet discovered"

THAT?

THAT would qualify as a proper prophecy.

Your bible?

Never even comes close to such.

No. you are the one who is infecting other's with your lies! The Bible has 'historical' facts and you know it. Just because you don't want to take the time to read the Bible, and ask for his God's 'Wisdom and Insight' is your problem...

God gives special 'Insight and Wisdom' to those who diligently seek him. THAT WOULD BE ME!

*SINCE I DO BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE. THESE WORDS I STAND BY!!!

LUKE 21:15
For I will give you 'Words and Wisdom' that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.

*THAT WOULD BE YOU... GOD WILL ALLOW YOU TO BECOME SO TONGUE TIED YOU WONT BE ABLE TO SPEAK. DON'T BELIEVE ME, JUST WAIT AND SEE...GODS WORDS FOREVER RING TRUE...

Your near future looks very bleak my friend. Remember my words when your walls come crashing down on you.

No one crosses my path by accident. You are only going to get so many warnings from God's messengers, until he shuts that door, and blots out your name in 'The Book of Life'... You are accountable for every word you speak!

There is a 'Very Powerful Spiritual Movement' going on right now as we speak... That you know nothing of, or about... So you just stay with your delusion, and lies... see where that get you...

Your life and world as you know it can come crashing down overnight... Go ahead and laugh, call me names... It just makes me 'stronger' through God's word to continue... Sleep well tonight...:)
