Well ya see Buck, while it may be something you may never have personally experienced in your lifetime, I can GUARANTEE you that BILLIONS of people have ALREADY taken only their physics and chemistry and made life. So what are you waiting for? Probably a nice forgiving, understanding, blind, deaf girl with the patience of a freakin' SAINT.

The DVD called the Star of Bethlehem
Explains it all. "

The star of Bethlehem never happened, Christians have combined 3 separate prophecies. The 3 wise men, the visiting kings, and the kings bearing gifts. If the magi came from the east and followed the star, the star would've been in the west from their perspective, not the east. Stars also do not stand over a certain place, they are too high up in the sky. I also do not believe the magi would have any knowledge of Hebrew prophecy. This event is not in the bible and is in a book that wasn't canonized. It simply never happened.
It happen. And it proves God created all.

And *that* is exactly what I disagree with. A universe without a God looks exactly like the universe we actually see. You are *assuming* that a deity is required to produce the universe.
"How do you think the universe would be any different without a deity?"
No space, or time, no energy and no matter.
Why would you say that?
These were all created by God so remove God and you remove everything. In other words there cannot be a universe with out a creator.
Yes, that is the exact point at issue. Why would anyone actually believe that claim?
Something does not spring forth out of nothingness with out God.
I disagree. The universe is NOT 'springing out of nothing'. It is uncaused with an earliest possible time.

The Big Bang starts at the explosion and doesn't dare try to explain what exploded. There was nothing before the Big Bang and everything after the Big Bang how do you get from one to the other? Sure science can't tell you.[/QUOTE]

Once again, and for the record: the Big Bang was NOT an explosion. An explosion throws matter through space. The Big Bang has space itself expanding.

Furthermore,*if* time began at the Big Bang, then there simply was no 'before the Big Bang'. The question is literally like asking what is at 100 degrees north latitude. You can say 'nothing', but in reality, the phrase '100 degrees north latitude' is simply meaningless. In the same way, the phrase 'before the Big Bang' is simply meaningless in the standard model of the Big Bang.

There is no need for a god, regardless.

In any case, Quantum Mechanics does negate your idea of god.

An omniscient being would collapse the universe.

The universe is here, therefore your god isn't.

What!!

Sacrilege!

Of course there is a need for a god. We need a god to make the universe in the first place.

Then we need an uber-god to make the god that made the universe.

Then we need an uber-uber-god to make the gods that make the universes.

Oh oh, I think I might have opened up an ugly can of worms here.
