You thought of a great new screen name for yourself.

"Limited Moral Ape"

I would have suggested "Stupid Sonuvabitch"

But that one is good, too.

Seriously... how can something (biblical prophesies) limited to the text of the OT be in any way "countless"?

For example Terry, there are 150 Psalms and each one stands on its' own. Also a complete paragraph or chapter is a whole thought or happening. I've never counted them up but there's probably been hundreds that have already been fulfilled. And I don't count them like Christians do, they count individual verses and also take them out of context.

Yes, you are correct here. Some Christians,'and' non-Christians do take verses out of context, to make it fit their situations.:)

The authors of the NT cherry picked "prophecies" from the OT and wrote them into their stories to make them appear as if they had been fulfilled. Think about it. This is a very easy thing for them to do. To lift something out of context and put it into their gospels.

When you read these OT prophecies in their context they are usually garbled nonsense, adn have nothing to do with any "Jesus".

1984 was the "acceptable year of the Lord" Isaiah 61:2, so 30 years later is 2014. Also according to this verse, the day of vengeance will also be proclaimed but it doesn't specify whether it's before or after the fact.

If we understood prophecy as Christians do, we've all fulfilled the bible. I don't believe Jesus fulfilled anything, but the NT says everything that didn't happen was nailed to the cross, the "crucifixion" is the whole basis of their theology. The only problem is Psalms 22 and 69 are about something totally different and it happened over 40 years ago. A "generation" Psalm 22:30. This is why Jesus claimed the end would come within a generation of the people he spoke to. He is proven to be a false prophet.

Actually, something 'substantial' is going to happen in our world between March 2014 and Sept 2015...

I have no idea what it is, but this has been put on the hearts of Christians that diligently seek God...

This is not a prophesy!

So you admit you refuse to count them yet claim they are 'countless'? How is that in any way 'truthful'? No need to answer, it's a rhetorical question.

Jesus is foretold in the bible, how could he not be? He has had a tremendous effect on the world and Israel in particular. He's not in prophecy as the Messiah though, but instead as the modern day idol of Israel, a dead god. He is Satans'(Adam) counterfeit messiah and in the NT itself, is called the seed of or the second Adam. Genesis 3:15.

That probably comes from John Hagee ministries. There's going to be a series of eclipses occurring on Jewish holidays in 2014 and 2015. If VWD Day comes by the end of 2014, the Messiah will be in power then. I must say though, that we've always had a lot of astronomical signs, like the star in the east and the kings of the east and west visiting.
