Yes, I would change my position that this hypothetical-but-proved-real god was real.Bob, yes, I believe there is no god. That is because there is no evidence for a god and there is quite a bit of evidence against various beliefs.
Most theists ignore the evidence out there. They believe there nonsense regardless of evidence. I am not slamming your own personal beliefs here. I am unaware of them. The ones I am slamming are the various fundamental sects.
I got off point. If actual evidence arose that there is a god I and most other atheists would change our mind. Regardless of the god there was evidence for most theist would ignore it and keep following their own personal god.
But the majority of deities I've seen described? I would not worship any-- none are worthy of basic >>respect<< let alone worship.
Besides-- worship is what broken-minded slaves do, towards their slave-master.
It is unbecoming to worship anything. So I wouldn't stoop to that, even if a god was proven to exist.
