I see you ignored all the references to the Earth being a flat square at the center of a geocentric universe which revolves around it.

So why is it you fundies criticize US for ignoring the Bible when actually it's the other way round?
Please give biblical references to support your claims. I doubt you will be able to because there aren't any.

The Bible has a few, scattered, historical 'truths' seen from the unique perspective of a relatively insignificant tribe with big egos.
Past that, it is pure myth.

The reason they have a big ego is because they were chosen by God. The bible is completely true because it is the word of God, not man and it will be proven to be true when the Messiah comes.

You are making the mistake of thinking that Atheism is a "thing". It's not. It's the absence of a thing.
Bald is not a haircut. It is the absence of hair.
Drought is not a kind of precipitation. It is the absence of water.
There are 15,000 religions. You are atheistic about 14,999. We are just 1 smarter than you.
Wrong. Atheism is a belief - that gods do not exist.

Wrong. Neither atheism nor theiism is about "religion".

Absence of the "thing" would be agnosticism, verificationism, or the incapacity to form a belief.

Atheists lie about this regularly in order to gain the advantage of a default position.

It is a transparent fraud.

No, agnosticism is a lack of knowledge. The etymology alone tells yo that much. An agnostic claims that they have not seen enough evidence to believe in a god or not.

Atheism has all sorts of variations. The best analogy I have seen is comparing it to a criminal trial. Just because someone is found "not guilty" does not mean they are innocent. Right now if the world went on trial as to whether there is a god or not the verdict would be not guilty of having a god. There may be a god out there somewhere, there is no credible evidence of a god existing.

I just came across this talk by the historian Dr. Richard Carrier:

In it he describes the reasons that he reluctantly came to endorse the Christ Myth Theory. Based on the talk, I think his upcoming book will be a good read. He brings up many points in his talk that are new to me, especially the way in which Christianity fits into the larger contest of the religions of the ancient world.

The Jesus-as-Savior theme came from Paul - who never met Jesus.

The actual followers of Jesus left after his death were called "Ebionites" or "Nazarenes", and believed in habits of purity of thought and humility, not a vicarious atoner.

Wonder where they got that idea? Not from the Jews, or any other religion.

Oh, what happened to them?

The Christians killed them and burned most of their writings.

We were created in the image and likeness of God, God reproduced himself. And like him, we have free will and dominion in the earth. The two do exist together. The scripture says, "I shall be satisfied when I awake, with your likeness".
