So the claim runs. Bleh. There is no evidence of a God and certainly no evidence of 'laws' given by such a creature. Instead, this is just a way for some people to attempt to control what other people are thinking.
Once again, blasphemy is a victim-less crime.
God knows all of our thoughts. Have you ever read the novel, 1984, it was the acceptable year of the Lord. The Ministry of Truth and the thought police?

Question atheism
It's true I absolutely have never seen a God nor have you

Therefore I conclude that gods are imagination and not reality

In either event you're left with the conundrum that there is more than one God.

Which one is really correct?

All of them then why do they need all these different rituals clothing buildings?

It's a big scam Lincoln And they hooked you right away with promises of immortality

Wow, I have heard of young earth creationists before, but never one who asserted the earth was less than 30 years old. Guess that makes you a "very very young earth creationist"

<quoted text>I cannot defend a lot of the laws, they were written for a different time, a different culture and need to be updated. The Messiah will "think to change times and laws..." Daniel 7:25. The 10 commandments are timeless and will never change. As for the rest of the law, it will usually say if the statute is perpetual or forever.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Matthew 5:17

“For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”— Matthew 5:18-19

“It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid.”(Luke 16:17)

Hmmm. Looks like all those laws are still in effect, according to your book of fables and your fearless leader. So, made any burnt offerings lately? Your god loves burnt offerings and devotes substantial portions of the OT to the rules for correctly killing and burning animals. Your god loves him some barbecue!

And I suppose you believe the earth is 2000 years old? Don't be so ignorant. The earth and universe is probably billions of years old, but modern man is about 6000 years old.

Sacrifice means "to make sacred". Life, including the lives of animals are sacred. That is why there was a ritual. Animals had to be killed in a certain humane manner. The purpose of the sacrifice is to eat the meat. And yes, God loves a barbecue.:)

You are the one who gave your deity's age as 29 1/2. If the creator is that old. it follows logically that any creation is even younger. I know well that the universe is over 15 billion years old, but then again, I trust science, not superstition.

That's simple:-
If you think the world ends tomorrow why learn anything. As the time one wastes learning something is better spent preying.

Of course I have. It gives a perfect example of what happens when people take things on faith and have a government that dictates beliefs instead of having a free people that thinks for itself.

Why not? You claimed your god was 100% watching over you! More to the point? You also claimed that "it is all opinion".

And since you think it is? Then clearly, gravity is just a matter of opinion too, right?

As such-- you ought to be able to fly-- at the VERY least, your god would either stop you, or catch you.

BUT YOU DO NOT TRUST YOUR GOD TO DO THAT.

You look both ways, before crossing a street--don't you?

YOU DO NOT TRUST YOUR GOD TO PROTECT YOU.

This proves?

Deep down?

YOU KNOW IT IS ALL BULLSH&T.

Thanks for playing.

The standard theist defence is that God wont send people to hell if they are ignorant of the Christian message. They will then be judged according to how they acted. Cause God is supposed to make himself known.. apparently. I used to believe this rubbish :D
The problem with this argument is that you would have no incentive to preach the gospel. Because if for example you told an ignorant person about how great Jesus was, and he rejected the message. Then he would go to eternity in hell. So you would be responsible for his eternal punishment, and he would be better off before. As he would have been better off living in ignorance . So the "great" commission turns out not to be so great after all.
Classic story as told from the viewpoint of an Inuit Chief(Eskimo).

The Inuit was discussing philosophy with the recently arrived Christian Missionary™.

He finally asked the CM, what would have happened to him, if he had died before the CM had a chance to tell him all about Jesus?

(which the Inuit found exceedingly difficult to make sense of, especially in light of the life he was used to, out on the ice hunting seals)

The Christian Missionary™ was all nicey-nice and very patronizing: "Oh, god would have judged you by how kind you were to your fellows."

The Inuit Chief was quiet for a time. He was reflecting that life on the ice was exceedingly difficult--such that the >>only<< possible way to survive was to be totally loyal and cooperative with his fellow Inuits-- anything else, they would all perish. In short? It was be nice, or die to an Inuit-- a literal requirement for their way of life.

He finally turns to the Christian Missionary™, and laments: "Then? Why did you tell me?"

The wisdom of a seemingly primitive tribe of folk-- who are far more wise than the "civilized" Christian Missionary™ could ever hope to comprehend.

Neither are your ugly fantasy-delusions of a terrorist-god who will (according to YOU) torture everyone forever.

That is NOT respect-worthy.
