An Evangelical Stheist is one who not only believes there is no god but is obsessed with convincing everyone around them to become an atheist too.
When cornered they usually try name calling..
They are never "cornered" because they simply ask for evidence of the God being propounded at them, usually by fundamentalist Protestant CHristians.

And suitable evidence is never offered.

When you ask them again, religitards usually play some kind of victim card.

A straw man, also known in the UK as "an Aunt Sally" is a common type of argument and is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position.

Name calling, infantile language referring to a person or group. This phenomenon is studied by a variety of academic disciplines including child psychology.

Agreed. Lincunt's sentences rarely even parse. I don't know where he's studying Engliah but he should ask for his money back.

Read Richard Dawkins and see that he has given up on atheism?
Keep reading his words, and also do buy his books. We have no questions and need no instructions to live without the mind numbing poison that is theism, nor do we care how others might believe.
Quit trying to push the filth into our laws, and we'd be so quiet, you would not even know we exist. After all we have nothing to push, atheism is but the lack of theism.

Dawkins has clearly had a much bigger impact on Lincunt's world than yours and mine.

It's easy to go from a Christian to an atheist if you ever start reading the bible. I can't see how Christian leaders can be so ignorant because they read the bible but probably not so much the OT. I was raised Christian but renounced it thirty years ago. I didn't become atheist, I became Jewish. I still believe in the Abrahamic God and the OT is the word of God. It's easier for an atheist to come to the knowledge of the Truth than it is for a Christian to forsake their idols. We shouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water. Jesus is prophesied in the OT as the modern day idol of Israel.

And yet you told me that you had never read a dawkins book because you didnt need to, and yet you are telling others to buy his rubbish.
Just shows what a douche you are along with Bad Boy Bubby.

LCNLin responded to this thread and yet for the past 8 hours you topix atheists have been spewing venom at him.
All thats needed is Jackson Brown playing a theme song for the 'progressive' ideas and 'critical thinking' skills of the topix atheist collective.

It's high time Britain changed the national anthem from "God save the Queen"
Asking a non-existent entity to rescue someone who has never had a moment's peril in her life just makes us look silly.

well, the first step is to realize that the word "belief" is different than the word "knowledge".

You go to church and say to the pastor, "Father I just can't believe in a god!"

The pastor says "You have to have faith my son"

People accept this and try their hardest to have faith in the god described by the pastor.

Now supposing we applied this same rationale to riding a bicycle?

You go to church and say to the pastor, "Father I don't think I can ever ride a bicycle"

The pastor says "You have to have faith my son"

You gather up all the faith you can muster. You then yell out in a loud and enthusiastic voice, "I believe with all my heart I can ride a bicycle!"!

You run across the parking lot of the church, and for the first time in your life you jump on that bicycle and start peddling like mad, promptly falling over and landing on your a$$.

The light dawns and you realize that accurate knowledge trumps faith every time.

You also know beyond a reasonable doubt, you can't ride a bicycle by simply believing that you can based on the words of a preacher!

You now can face the wonderful mystery of life just like any other honest atheist!
