Yes, all of are today. Are you simply not understanding what I am saying? Let's do an analogy. A single penny is not a lot of money. But a hundred trillion pennies *is* a lot of money. Now, start at one penny and add pennies one by one. Which penny takes the total from 'not a lot of money' to 'a lot of money'? the answer, of course, is that no single penny does this. The concept of 'a lot of money' is a fuzzy one with no clear boundary. In the same way, the concept of 'modern human' is a fuzzy one with no clear boundary. This is true even though everyone today is clearly a modern human just like a hundred trillion pennies is clearly a lot of money. |

Judged: 1 1 Yes, retard, but then there is a WHOLE PARAGRAPH about how it wasn't an "explosion" in the conventional "hilbilly shootin' off fahrworks" sense. Did you not read that? |
|

Judged: 1 The order and complexity came along LONG, LONG after the initial expansion (what you call an explosion"). |

Because the blending of one proto-human species into another over the last 200,000 years has no clear distinct boundaries between the various species. It can only be seen after the fact. By analogy, look at a rainbow and try to discern exactly the point where the red blends into the orange, etc. You can't. Here is our human ancestry as we currently know it (with more detail being discovered with each passing year): Ardipithecus ramidus Australopithecus anamensis Australopithecus afarensis Australopithecus africanus Australopithecus garhi Paranthropus aethiopicus Paranthropus boisei Paranthropus robustus Homo habilis Homo rudolfensis Homo ergaster Homo erectus Homo heidelbergensis Homo neanderthalensis Homo sapiens |

:) Going quite well. I'm just dropping in for the occasional "hi" now and again. Deleting the majority of my Topix threads' tracking too. I trust things are well with you and yours? |

*sigh* Genetic information, such as which species you are a member of, is inherited from your parents, except for the 100 or so mutations each of us has. Changes that happen during your lifetime don't get passed on to your children. This is *very* basic information. |

What would the third option be? |

Nope-- you are wrong on both accounts. Nice try, though. |

Once again, there was not a 'first modern human' because the concept of 'modern human' is fuzzy-it has no hard boundaries. or are you not listening to what I said? |

Judged: 1 Well,*I* came into being because my mother and father had sex. Given the existence of artificial fertilization, not everyone has the same method of coming into existence. |

I have no faith--not how YOU mean it. There was no "first human" as YOU mean the phrase. Until (and if ever) you have a glimmering of comprehension of what evolution means? You will never begin to understand why. |

Which is why I have stopped arguing science with the Christholes. Simply put they lack the resources to comprehend. No mater what you provide they just go back to.... God just have had a part in it. If we don't know something yet just say a supernatural unseen god magicked it. See as I have said before when we do this we are allowing them to frame the debate. They don't want to debate the probability of their god being real or not so instead they want to change the debate into say Darwin vs god. But they have no interest in learning, they have googled up apologetic websites and how to debate an atheist sites and they steal their nonsense questions from there.
My opinion is we stop letting them frame the debate to their liking because as you said it's the same question and answer again and again from the same posters.

Judged: 1 1 You are, of course, 100% spot-on in your analysis: they have zero desire to learn anything at all. It's a shame-- learning is one of the signs of sentient life after all, heck even earthworms have limited learning ability. But these people--these goddist-robots--have given up that ability, in exchange for dubious and empty promises of... what? An afterlife that reads like the worst and dullest funeral party you've ever been forced to attend? They are indeed brain damaged. Or brain washed or indoctrinated. Each of these phrases fit them all too well. It is sad to see nonetheless. But hope spring eternal-- some of these people get sufficient real-life reality thrust into their faces which they cannot ignore. And the conversations they had on here? May well be the seeds they need to break out of the self-delusional state of being a godbot. So we fight the good fight with knowledge, facts and ... actual reality itself.:D |

I have pondered why they keep coming back for more reality abuse.:)
