Stephanopoulos Features Atheist on Easter Sunday Discussing...Religion?

Mar 31, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: NewsBusters.org

As religious people are bludgeoned with secular views by America's media practically 24/7, it would be nice if they could be given a break on their holiest days.

What a bunch of whiners at this alleged news rag!

One of the top catholic cardinals was on This Week during the first half hour. During the second half hour on Roundtable II: Faith and Politics, Susan Jacoby was on a panel that included FOUR theists. The conversation among Gearge S. and all the panelists was very civil. This was completely different from how Fox Noise treats American Atheists President David Silverman.

Here is the complete show:

http://abcnews.go.com/watch/this-week/SH55908...

The cardinal comes on at about the 21:50 marks and starts making a fool of himself without George S.'s help on gay marriage at the 26:20 mark.

Susan Jacoby and the Foundtable discussion starts at the 30:55 mark or here:

How many religious TV channels are there in the usa? "Christian organizations are by far the most widespread compared with other religions, with upwards of 1,600 television and radio stations across the country" oh maybe I am being bludgeoned with religious views by America's media practically 24/7.
This alone makes this article not worth reading.

Being Greek, he probably has an affinity to socialism. He must not be payig attention to what is happening in Greece right now. It doesn't work.

With over 1200 Christian organizations, the USA has a greater number of Jesus fan clubs than any other country in the world. The proliferation of variegated brands of Christianity in America is so extreme that it acquires a comic dimension. One might discern only a subtle difference in name between, say, the "Evangelical Congregational Church" and the "Evangelical Covenant Church", or the "Church of God in Christ" and "Church of Christ" but miss a gulf of doctrinal distinction.

But then, who is bothered about doctrine anyway? Denominations, a source of so much anguish and bloodshed in the past, have diminishing importance in the era of evangelical psychosis, mega-churches and apocalyptic blockbusters.

Christianity USA is all show business and emotional razzmatazz. Organised as international corporations, with a globalised "mission" of subsidiary offices, its product is propaganda, pouring in prodigious quantity from a network of TV and radio stations and publishing houses. The intent is to draw further millions into the mass of devotees.

This video sums them up quite nicely :)

Uh . No. Easter ? they misspelled the goddesses name . It is Ishtar . The goddess of fertility . A Pagan Goddess . What does sex and children have to do with each other ? That is perverted . Children were never meant to be a part of religion nor were women .. Sure the churches want to indoctrinate everyone . But let's have some honesty shall we ? Firstly the god of Abram is Amen the Egyptian Sun god . The Hebrews didn't have vowels so those are interchangeable . Omun , Amon , Amun , Omon , etc . same god . When you say Amen you are invoking the name of a god . there is no god named god . rabbits and eggs (ova) are fertility symbols . Stop hiding the egg from the sperm . Come out and say what your religion is really about . Then see how many converts you will have . Leave the children out of Easter you perverts .

The first time word ďAmenĒ was commanded by the Lord, can be found in (Num 5:22). Now how silly is it to believe that God would invoke the name of a pagan god? Aramaic, which was the language of the time does have vowels.
