Are atheists mentally ill

All research and evidence leads to the conclusion of these facts:

Atheists are deeply depressed.
Atheists have the higher suicide rate out of any belief system.
Atheists suffer from social anxiety and negative perception (confidence issues).
Atheists have an irrational hatred and obsession with religion leading to more social problems.
There are no mental health benefits of atheism. It is devoid of rational thinking and mental protection.

In comparison, religious people have better mental health, they live longer and they are much happier.

You're just a bitter idiot who's realised that atheists are right and can't accept it.

When you prove the god you continuously lie about, you'll stop being mentally ill, its that simple!

Boy the ttt {typical topix theist} better hope their god isn't real especially since they keep braking his commandment of *thou shall not bear false witness*.

The god of the bible is a drunken step dad coming home from a long hard day at work who cant wait for his wife and kids to say something stupid so he can beat the daylights out of them.

Not one of these sources, that I was able to open, did it say any of the above things that you have stated.

I would like to add that you, for some reason, decided to choose sources that did not show your claims... I don't understand that because there are many sources if you simply google it, that will tell you some of the things that you've stated, but I don't understand why you felt the need to magnify the research by 100%. There are studies that have claimed that people who participate in religious functions have more social interaction which makes them happier in the long run, but it has also been stated that this is not due to the religion specifically, but more to the extended family that they acquire in the church. However if a group of Atheists want to get together with like minded people and socialize, they are badgered about it becoming a church group rather than it simply being a social gathering. It's rather hard for a person to keep a smile on there face, and a desire to be social when almost everyone they speak to is shoving religion and hateful words in your face just because you don't choose to believe in a "god". It's not the lack of religion that would make an atheist suicidal, it's the existence of all of the intolerance for a personal choice.
