Will wonders never cease.

Still, I can't wait for the day the polls say that a minority of the population would vote for a christian.

It would be nice to see that in my lifetime.

implies that atheism is a faith, i.e. "If you compare atheism with the next largest faiths in America, the difference is significant."

The writer makes the point that Atheists still appear the least trusted group and have a long way to go.
