Damn, what a total dipshit you are. Unless it is a specified god's name, the first word in a sentence, or a proper name, everybody everywhere uses the small "g' for the word god. Now just in case you do not understand the previous sentence, Jesus is a proper name and is always capitalized by absolutely everyone who chooses to use the name. Do you get that is it capitalized because it is a name, and not because of who is named?

Examples of things which might have names, but which without being named do not get capitalized: cars, monkeys, gods, dogs, houses, lights, trees, roads ....

Examples of names which might belong to these things, and always will be capitalized: Ronnie, Scooter, Ennis, Melvin, Xerxes, Ra, Taylor, Main, Settler, White ....

Finish your thought!

It seems to be that your major malfunction is to repeatedly start an implication against we atheist, and then fall off that horse before it's first step.

A word of advice on riding in this damned rodeo. Boy you best tie yourself to that damned saddle, before you find yourself behind that nag and lying face first in the plop.

Well, if you lie to a little kid? How's the kid gonna know?
If you keep up the lies until the same kid is an adult? By that time, he's come to believe the lies, and will refuse anything contrary to the lies he's come to know so well.
Why else do you think all religions have child-brainwashing rituals?
It's an institutionalised brainwashing that reaches right into the heart of religion.

Without which, religion would die within a generation.

But the internets have been a more successful tool than anyone realized-- as have private personal communications.

These two, which permitted the creation of social media, has allowed several new generations of kids to grow up knowing the truth-- that all religions are based on one or more lies.

Progress.

And that genie is well out of the bottle--

-- the future will be an interesting place.

Nicely put

Thanks to the internet and other communications, people are networking in ways unheard of before and the idiocy of religion is being laid bare for all to see.

Yes.

And along with it, the message that bullying is no longer acceptable is being widespread as well.

Prior? The victims of bullies often felt totally alone. Now? These people can find kindred spirits via social media/internets, and with that, the strength & courage to stand up to bullies--rendering them powerless (in many cases).

Including victims of abuse at the hands of "loved ones" or other close kin.

As time marches forward, it'll be harder and harder for predators to find victims who won't reveal the predator's activities.

I see a day in the not too distant future, when it'll be >>priests<< who must worry about the consequences of what they do--instead of their unwilling victims...

That would be wasted effort on your part, after all the religitard has already shrank the buybull god down to an easily leashed and porched broken idol version to be kept at the ready, for use as an "all talk, no teeth" threat.

He once was the god who demanded that they be stoned to death in the streets for such as wearing mixed fibers, and now he is drug out only when anyone dares to offer any response other than capitulation to the god owner's/wielder's whims. They are no longer the god's supplicants

Once they trembled before him, now he pisses himself and trembles on their leashes.

The big "G" is already as small as a "g" can be.

But you did anyway. This is actually the mistake all theists' make: opening their mouths to share their "opinions".

No doubt. We see your kind a lot.

This from an atheist web page.

""Indeed, it would be rather juvenile to misspell God simply in order to insult theists. If such an atheist had so little respect for another person, why even waste the time writing to them in the first place, much less deliberately trying to hurt them at the same time? While that may actually be the case with some atheists who write the word 'god' with a lowercase 'g,' "

We spell god with a little "g" because it reveals the true character of hategodbots such as yourself.

By using the intentionally disrespective little g, it makes people like you really, really mad.

And when you get mad, you reveal your true character (or lack of the same), and you go off on a horrid little temper tantrum.

Showing the world what a failure you really are-- and also proving to the world that your religion makes people do more hate.

And how well that works, too-- you? You revealed how much of an azzhole you are.

Just by spelling god with a little g.

It doesn't get any better than that.

Bobbie is running for the House Seat in the 4th district of georgia (Georgia)
"54' 40 or God-Bot" is his primary slogan with
"Remember and Alamo & god-bot" as the fall back.
georgia will be spelled with a small "g".

There's nothing juvenile about spelling god with a small g and no disrespect is implied. Capitalising the word 'god' is a convention amongst religionists and people of religious faith. It simply appears incorrect in the eyes of non-believers, that's all.

I see it as akin to those particular believers that can't actully bring themselves to spell the word 'god'. Instead the spell it "G-D"

I see what you mean.

I also thought that the nuns who taught me at primary school capitalised god in order to emphasise that we were supposed to take an Abrahamic god seriously and not consider it with the same detachment and objectivity as other gods.

However, I think most people dispense with the capitalisation for the sake of good and consistent written English. After all, one wouldn't write of Greek Gods. It is Greek gods. Gods in general aren't capitalised and there is no particular reason for a non-believer to capitalise the Abrahamic god(s). That is why I suggested it is more correct to describe such capitalisations as a convention amongst believers, i.e. religionists and people of religious faith.
