I note Paul D Ryan might be Mr Romney's 'running mate'.

Bizarrely, Mitt Romney's family apparently baptised his dead father-in-law(?) I wonder if they are as biased against atheists as were the Bushes? Or open and honest about it if they are?

Can they trust and respect atheists and religionists equally?

And gays too?..

When I hear religionists chanting and praying, I sometimes wonder if I can always respect religionists as I should. I have to remind myself that we are more than our superstitious beliefs or our rejection of faith.

we do not know enough about Ryan's brand of Catholicism. There is a left, a center, and a rightwing among Catholics, and also a do not want to comment group. My guess he is rightwing and not vocal about it.

I shudder to think that there is the possibility of the United States being led by mannequins.

It sound like Rep. Paul Ryan used to be a great fan of Ayn Rand, but has lately thrown her under the bus, because of her atheism and probably some other Tea Party reasons.

If it were Mel Gibson's style of catholicism, it wouldn't surprise me.

A Ryan? Or an Aryan?
