Christians hear it all the time in one form or another from atheists and sceptics.

I think they envy us. We have broken the chains of superstition while they cling to them tightly even as they rust and fall apart around them. Or they have crab mentality meaning they want to hold back their fellow man along with them.

Their case for god boils down to... Because I said so and prove me wrong! Even they would be ashamed to use this argument on anything other than god.

So pitiful like a petulant child throwing a temper tantrum. We can only shake our head and tsk tsk at them.

ROFL! Once again, when did I personally attempt to legislate or force my bigotry (of which I possess none) or ignorance (again, none) upon the masses? Blaming all theists for the actions of a few is positively irrational don't ya think? The fact still remains that you cannot use the scientific method to disprove the existence of God.
Thank you. That is all.

Lol Witty. I like that. But no. Believe however you want. I honestly don't care. It's the arrogance with which you condemn anyone whose opinions differ from your own that bothers me. Especially when not a one of you (atheists) can disprove the existence of God using the scientific method.

So the next time a religious group tries to throw it's weight around to force it's will upon others you will stand against them?

Yes or no.

Your backsliders might be, but to be not theist doesn't imply any belief nor it would it say that the highly ridiculous, and thoroughly misplaced Asian god myth would have any affect on those who are un indoctrinated. You have to believe the crap, to be haunted by the crap. Did you know that according to the bible, the Jehovah-tool will make you eat your children?

You do know that "atheism" is the complete abscence of any "ism" don't you? That is what the word means.

Why on earth would someone waste their time trying show there is NO proof of something for which there has never, ever been ANY proof? Wouldn't that make them a crazy person?

Nor can you use the scientific method to disprove that God exists. Do it and shut us theists up for good. I'm not calling you a moron for not believing. I respect your choice. I simply resent the fact that you would arrogantly accuse theists of believing in a Fairytale when you can't even prove (via the scientific method) that said "Fairytale" doesn't exist. That's a bit backwards don't you think?
Nobody has to diprove your 'god' exists.

If you have no verifiable evidence that your claim is real, that is all the evidence one needs to conclude it is not... or are you trying to say that every unsupportable claim is valid until it can be scientifiaclly disproven? I doubt even you are THAT stupid... but I have a feeling you're going to try to prove me wrong

Bleh. Back to my point. The scientific method can neither prove nor disprove the existence of God. It stands to reason, then, that your continual damnation of all things theist is as idiotic as it is illogical. You're simply defending your opinion. Which is fine. We are all entitled to one. Having an opinion on something doesn't necessarily make it true, however. Especially seeing as how you cannot, yet again, use the scientific method to disprove that which you don't believe in. Again, do what you do. Quite frankly, the zeal with which you go about your assault on anything and everything that just so happens to contradict your own personal convictions makes you more like the religious fundies that you so openly hate. Not less like them. I see no enlightenment in that.
Incorrect. If there was evidence supporting the god, then science could analyze it for us, that's all science is, it's a tool for analyzing evidence. If the analysis proved solid and concrete, then it would be proven to be valid and submittable, thus your assertion that there is a god could be considered valid. If the evidence does not withstand the scrutiny then your god is still unproven and for you to assert it as fact would be nothing short of delusional.

I don't know. Maybe the same reason they would waste their time not believing in a God they can't disprove exists using the scientific method?

Seriously?! Again with this? Look. It's pretty cut and dry to me. You can neither prove nor disprove that God exists using the scientific method. Therefore I'm gonna keep on believing because I have NO reason not to. The best you can do is formulate an opinion. That's great. Enjoy that. I'm certainly not here to convert you. I have too much respect for my fellow man than that. Don't arrogantly sit there, though, and tell me that I'm wrong when you cannot prove me wrong using the scientific method. You CANNOT use it to disprove God. That is just a fact. Nor can I use it to prove that God exists. Again, fact. There is no argument here to me. Other than that of differing opinions. Personally, I don't care if you don't see eye to eye with me. It is perfectly okay with me that we don't agree because I don't feel the need for your approval. I respect you as a fellow human being, but I don't need your approval. What's not okay, however, is you telling me that I'm wrong when you don't have a shred of proof (using the scientific method) indicating that I am. How arrogant is that? Where is the logic in that?

And yet millions of people the world over believe in the same "delusion". There's not one single chance that you might possibly be wrong? Especially when you cannot use the scientific method to prove that said "delusion" is non-existent. That just defies logic. Maybe you're the one who's delusional. I mean you too have an opinion that can't be proven using the scientific method. Yet you persist in calling others crazy anyway. Isn't that the very definition of insanity?

Actually, since I am in the minority on that, there is a greater chance that I am correct. The majority has proven throughout history to be wrong more often than correct. You should be careful about using fallacies, because there's a reason they are called fallacies.
