I accidently posted this poll twice. I've asked the Topix admins to delete the other one, so please answer this one, not the other. Thanks.

Personally yes. I mean if someone were able to demonstrate to me observable evidence of some god and that this was a positive god I would be all ears. But the biggest roadblock to that is I have yet to meet an honest religious person who would even start by telling you the truth and not being a cafeteria believer picking and choosing what you like and ignoring or batter dipping and deep frying what you don't, so to speak lol :)

And if they are not going to be honest from the get go there's not much reason to go further.

Yes, I would like to know. Know thine enemy. We would then know that unnecessary suffering was the fault of a flawed god.

Yeah, I'd want to know.

Just a thought; As an atheist, and taken further as a skeptic and trying to approach things in a rational way.

I *want* to believe in many things. It just so happens that many things don't merit belief. If there is evidence and preferably some proofs, I can warrant belief, and I do in some instances, but only if I can assign some sort of reasoned, logical process for believing. IOW, I have standards.

Theistic faiths do not approach my standard for committing what I will give belief to in any way.

If I allowed theistic faith to qualify, I might as well throw werewolves, vampires, and all other sorts of *supernatural*<(a truly meaningless term) based creatures and beliefs in the door.

-Well most of your conversations must have been with non-Catholics to say that they pick and choose what they believe. You probably never even had a discussion with a Orthodox Jew in any of the conversations you've had. So to say that all religious people are liars is basically irrelevant.

And you would be wrong, as usual.

Indeed you were with your ignorant opinion. Instead of asking me if I had ever met such a Jew you immediately assumed I had not. I have lived in Southern California, Orthodox Jews are friggin everywhere!

Yes. For me to be wrong about religion would mean that every god ever concieved by man would be provable as truth, and that all dogmas were also true.

Of course I'd want to know. My goal is to know the truth, not to defend a position. If there is convincing proof that I am wrong, there's no valid reason to cling to an error.

Haaahaaa.... How mature. And you making a comment that all religious people are liars, and can't keep their beliefs straight, and having it made known that there's no debating you because your always right. Well my friend if that's not conceded I don't know what is. Get over your self.

If there was conclusive, irrefutable and absolute proof. No theories. No opinions. Yes, I would want to know.

Either way. I've added this because I haven't read the first page and am relying on my sleep deprived memory of what I've read Teddy say the question is.

Well, well if it ain't roach boy. Old Roachie misses two raptures in one year, and has to know that Harold Camping is still spending your money, isn't he? You are left behind, you weren't qualified, but then neither was your leader 'Endtimes' Sindy Burros, if you had been virgin Jewish men, you'd be rocking heaven now. Your bridegroom cameth and took only the unreamed, those who had something that he valued. He didn't want an old wore out hole like you

Have you read your buybull yet, any of it? Did what you read come true for you? Like have you moved mountains with prayer, made cakes cooked with human dung, listened to any talking snakes? No? Of course it hasn't and it's not going to.

But you still believe that what I read in the buybull, I practice? Do you think that I would obey your dirty little piss ant god? If I did, I would be one of you loons.

Btw, read your dirty book,

Leviticus 26:29 your god will make >>>> YOU <<<< eat your children.

I didn't make any of the statements here that you claim I did. I guess you just make it up as you go eh?

I'm sorry you have no proof of god, but violence against atheists is no the answer. We didn't invent god - you did, your quarrel is ultimately with yourself.
