Why do you think your good friend john won't condemn religious child abuse?

No as was assumed earlier... I like john. He sticks to his guns.... They seem to be old broken plastic toy water guns... And he can't hit the targets.... But like a misbehaving child he will keep squirting you in the eye just to annoy you..., lol
I'm just poking fun... No hard feelings.

You skipped the questions. Your silence exposes you realize that you have no evidence stronger than that of a prime mover.
Come on back when todays march is over. What's the object of your venom today?....St. Josephs orphanage?
Stump an antitheist! Ask them what they believe. 78

Why is it necessary to believe? Is it not enough to simply exist?

We are surrounded by a world that cannot reconcile itself with the assertions made by major religions. We know how old the earth is, we know the world is round, we know that giant beasts roamed it, we can see that some mammals have evolved over time.

These are all things that religion has either failed to deal with or has got completely wrong.

Why was it ok for the Church to believe the earth was flat or that the earth was the centre of the universe when these thing were proven to be incorrect.

Does that mean that everything the church says 'could' be incorrect?

Why was it ok for the Catholic church to state that unbaptized babies went to hell, only to change this to limbo/purgatory this century? Does that mean that unbaptized children who died last century are still in hell, or did they get upgraded to limbo when the pope announced the change?

You have to understand why religion is so flawed and why everything it asserts must be considered on its own merits. Not simply accepted because 'God' said so.

We are blessed to live in a time where free thought is the norm. Lets not waste this era by clinging to belief and control systems that have enslaved humanity for millenia.

The progress and leaps we have made as a species are enormous. Space travel, Genetic Science, organ transplants, quantum physics and all the amazing advances we have made over the last 100 years has been amazing. But every single one of them flew in the face of organised established religion.

If you BELIEVERS had it your way. We would still be living in puritanical Amish style farms.

one cannot reason with mentally ill cult followers like all theists when it comes down to it.

These people have a sickness that means they cannot be honest - they value dishonesty and lies and so we have to live with these hateful people somehow.

I don't mind that people have a belief. But they need to understand theat their belief in God is tantamount to millions of teenage girls believing in sexy Vampires and mysterious brooding Werewolves.

Why does that guy keep reposting the same comment? Does he think he has somehow trumped anti-theists by repeating that ridiculous question

I believe that the world and everything i can see, touch, feel, taste and smell is real.

Anything else must be critically examined to ascertain the validity of its existence.

Stump a theist! ask him why he believes without evidence.

I contend the preponderance of evidence lies on the side of a prime mover vs any other accountable position of belief. Your entire forum is a nothing farce. I love watching you fight so hard for a supposed nonclaim.
Your whole narrative is reliant on God to have a voice. Logic and rationality are lost on liberal atheists. Do you have an example of evidence that meets the criteria you hold others accountable to?
How does a bigot measure the evidence for the following possibilities: prime mover, always was, something from nothing. Show your work.
You can't even make up an accountable position to debate vs a prime mover. The reason your forum won't engage is they realize just how futile their nonposition is.
Debate nothing with your other personalities. I don't debate nothing Stumpy.*37
Make sure to skip the questions. Nobody realizes just how helpless you are LOL. Questions...a-a-a-a

Your whole narrative is reliant on God speaking through mortal men. You may not doubt the word of God, but you should at least have the intelligence to question the words of men.

For example, when man predicts a hurricane, he can do so by using barometers and calculating areas of low pressure/high pressure combined with approaching weather fronts to do so.

Before man could do this with some accuracy, Theists simply believed that God wills the weather and there is nothing we can do because he works in mysterious ways.

Your posts use a lot of words to say very little.
