Well, since it's just a corpse at that stage, it's sort of difficult for it to ambulate, unless it's a zombie.

Oh hey! You worship zombies, don't you? Yeah, he wasn't even dressed up, he was just a zombie.

As stated previously, consciousness is "awareized" energy existing in all matter.
Whatever *that* means. I have a suspicion that your understanding of energy is at the Star trek level.
There is conscious and nonconscious information. The physical senses are rudimentary extentions of the inner senses.
Inner senses, eh? And what, precisely, are those?
In the physical realm, one must be awake to "express" conscious information. The inner senses are pathways to an inner reality, or nonconscious information. To access this reality, one need not be conscious, or awake.
Nice fantasy you have there.
A rock, like a comatose patient cannot verbalize its awareness in the usual sense, but this does not mean that it is not aware of itself and its surroundings just as a coma does not mean that nothing is perceived.
Rocks have nothing to perceive with. They are simply chemicals in well-defined structures that don't react to their environment significantly.
Rocks as molecular structures send out their own expressions of awareized energy, and unless you are tuned in to perceive them, you may interpret these expressions as static or meaningless noise.
Or nothing at all. So, what exactly would be something 'tuned' to detect these 'awareized energies'? Let's make a device that detects them and measures them and we can bring all of this into the realm of science. Otherwise, all you have is some fantasies.
We don't "lose" consciousness. It is always there - it simply can't express through an anesthesized unresponsive brain.
The evidence says otherwise (depending, of course, on the type of anesthesia).
Neuroscientists would take issue with this statement.
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/2484...
Yes, what we usually call consciousness is a complex collection of interactions at all brain levels. Basic awareness is different than consciousness.
Actually to be aware doesn't require a brain at all. Jellyfish have no brain or central nervous system yet the ability to change position or direction while swimming requires an awareness of their environment to avoid running into things willy nilly.
Jellyfish have nervous systems that react to stimuli. Their neural nets are very simplistic and don't allow for 'awareness' or, certainly, consciousness. The reaction is much closer to what we have as reflexes, but even more primitive. Reflexes are not consciousness.

Yes indeed, the well protected mayor bloomberg found a bunch of overpaid hollywood actors to make an anti-gun ad to influence people that they don't need a gun because a punk wastes his mother, 20 little kids and 6 unarmed adults who complied with their school's "Gun Free Zone Signs." A counter ad was produced showing clips of the actors using guns in their films for mass murder...so much for their credibility.
It does not matter if the perp has a toothpick or was bare handed. If it is their intent to harm and kill then it should be the intentions of anyone in charge of the weak to use whatever means necessary to stop such an attack. A flame thrower comes to mind followed by buckshot.
The fact is loughner, holmes and lanza are not part of any organization dedicated to Protecting and Defending The United States Constitution...or is bloomberg et al. People like loughner, holmes and lanza are residue from the history illiterate politically inept slugs that bloomberg, obama et al depend on for votes.

Todayís special quizzie for obamaroids...

Would you allow yourself to associate and to be mentored for years by an individual who proposed killing parents and perhaps 25,000,000 Americans in death camps, obviously hated America, planted bombs everywhere with one of those bombs suspected of killing a police officer and maiming another. And who also designed a bomb that blew up killing his girlfriend and two comrades all while that bomb was intended for US Soldiers and civilians at Fort Dix NJ...Would you allow yourself to associate with such a deranged individual, Yes or No?
If your answer is no then why did you vote for b. h. obama who is an individual who did associate and was mentored for years by the communist-terrorist bill ayers and who launched his political career from the home of bill ayers? America eagerly awaits your replies...no spins please.

Teabaggers have been doing that since the tea party was formed.
If you're not a teabagger, you're an Anti-American communist.
Then there is this:
Everyone knows that Tea Party revolutionaries fear and hate socialism about as much as the Antichrist. Which is funny, because the Tea Party movementís dirty little secret is that it owes its existence to the grandaddy of all Antichrists: the godless empire of the USSR.
What few realize is that the secretive oil billionaires of the Koch family, the main supporters of the right-wing groups that orchestrated the Tea Party movement, would not have the means to bankroll their favorite causes had it not been for the pile of money the family made working for the Bolsheviks in the late 1920s and early 1930s, building refineries, training Communist engineers and laying down the foundation of Soviet oil infrastructure.
Poor teabagger.
Attention Wall Street Communist!!! Yes indeed you have flipped your lid, douchebagger.
Once again...Your sleazy attempt to connect the USSR to Koch in the early part of the past century and to The Tea Party in 2011 is a deranged joke.
Let me educate you and your like minded history illiterate libelous pals...The entire USA, The entire UK et al allied with Stalin during WWII. That fact alone cancels your self-serving knee jerk assumption that you can single anyone out from the era like you and your ilk have done to the relatives of the Koch brothers. Furthermore, any oil related assistance provided by the USA, Koch et al to the USSR prior to WWII obviously was key for the USSR to defeat Nazis. The Cold War began in 1946, douchebagger.
You are one pathetic libelous runt talking out your butt stooping lower than a snake's belly trying to connect dots that obviously cannot be connected. You are a useful idiot for the communist party sleazebags who are stinking up American politics, those dots connect.

Lame, this one is actually lamer than the one Eagle tried. However there's the problem with that, I don't believe in the nonsense of an afterlife, so why would I waste this one life to see if you're correct? You believe in an afterlife, so you are very capable of throwing it all away to do just that. In order to avoid coming to terms with that, you project the notion onto an atheist, because you lack the actual courage and faith to find out if there is an after life or if you're just playing make believe and took it too far.

It's the other way around, but not to worry. Your current addiction to narrow science fictions is only temporary. You have many lives ahead of you and an "infinite" amount of time to figure it all out.

As I have already stated, before anything is, it is first thought. All possible physical materializations of consciousness exist first in the mental universe - the inner reality. Physical matter flows outward from the center of this vast gestalt of awareized energy of which we are a part. Ideas are alive and creative and they belong to consciousness. Our world came into being in much the same way an idea does. It expands the same way that any idea does. I am not talking about imagination or hallucinations, but a realm of thoughts, of mental actions out of which all realities emerge. Consciousness is no more trapped within this particular earth reality than it is trapped in our physical brains. This earth, like the self you are familiar with, is but one materialization of an inner organization of consciousness. Nothing exists isolated and alone - everything is interrelated. Other earths coexist with this one, and they are in one way or another connected in much the same way our multidimensional selves are connected. Each one carries hints and clues about the others. In terms of the science fictions you know and love, there was no evolution in linear terms but vast expansions of consciousness - of idea constructs - of capacities unfolding on the parts of all species, and these still continue.

Life is an eternal course of action. Your physical experience is a combination of subjective events interlaced with objective acts. Your prosaic beliefs about reality can become impediments to your personal growth and development however, rather than doors to enlightenment. Your flat view of reality is the result of relying too heavily on your physical senses. Perhaps putting it simply will make a dent. I don't interact with you. I interact with my "perception" of you. Physical reality doesn't exist outside of me or you. It is a reflecttion of what exists inside of us. It is an illusion, a physical glass mirror. When you see your reflection in the mirror you know it's not you. You know it's a reflection. When you see the reflection frowning and want it to smile, you dont walk over to the mirror and try to force the reflection to smile. You know you have to smile first. Science, will never have the answers because it is focused on the image in the glass mirror and not on the "source" of that image.

God isn't real. Creationists love to use large passages of meandering philosophical bullsh*t in order to hide the fact that they have absolutely no proof of god whatsoever.

All proven to be shameful immoral liars.

Science's fictions. What price do you pay for believing these hypothetical myths?

No God created you. You are nothing more than the flotsam of random chemical combinations washed up from a stagnant pool of dead matter eons ago. A bio-mechanism tossed out into the centuries with no connection to the cosmos, or even the earth - the only home you have. You were born for no reason in a universe created by chance. No wonder you don't feel the divine grace of your own being or that of others!

Though you tend to life's daily fires - methodically gathering the fruits of your labor, whatever joys, triumphs and knowledge you accumulate is only temporary. Whatever endearing loves you experience are destined to last only a brief time. For in the end it is all taken from you. Nothing learned or felt will be left of your physical experience, nothing left but the smoldering ashes of your funeral pyre. You have nothing to live for - no dreams or promises of greater things beyond your physical prison, and so you lash out at people who do believe. You're like a tragic figure, trudging reluctantly towards your own annihilation. What a collection of eqregious and psychologically damaging myths to believe! Within this bleak and sterile view of reality, if you took your life tomorrow it wouldn't matter. I wonder why you don't?

Gimme. Gimme. Gimme! The evidence you seek is self evident. All you have to do is learn how to see and not just look. You ask questions just to ask, then race through the answers just to see where you disagree. Open your mind! A garden of evidence grows within and all about you where it's been all along.

Nothing is self evident, and anyone who claims it is just wants to dodge the burden of proof. In other words, you want to lie.
