Wrong. Virtual particles are not caused.

So you persist in ignoring the actual evidence by making false philosophical claims.
No, time and space are NOT accidents of matter.

As I said above, you must review Physics if you ever had any background on.

How have I done that?
Once again, and very carefully. If I put a particle into a superpositional state, the specific state it is detected in by a later experiment is uncaused. It is purely probabilistic.
If you don't understand the examples, just ask about them.
In the decay of a muon, there is no difference between the muon a pico-second before the decay and that muon at any other time. The decay itself is uncaused. There is no 'fuse' inside a muon or spring that goes off to make it decay.
For virtual particles, they literally come into existence out of nothing in a purely probabilistic way: there is no causality here.
In the case of an electron in a double slit experiment, there is no way, even in theory, to predict where the electron will hit the detector. it is purely probabilistic and uncaused.
Maybe we have a difference in definitions. Perhaps we can get further if you give me *your* definition of the word 'cause'. What do *you* mean when you say that 'A causes B'? Be precise. Don't simply give trivial examples; give a precise definition.

Electrons are part of the atom. Atoms are the constitution of matter. Matter cannot be uncaused. Here you are in default for not understanding logic in Physics.

*cough* Really?

You say this like you did and say *I* have to brush up on my physics?

Show me *one* modern physics book, say from the last 50 years, that makes the claim that time is an 'accident' of matter. Not a philosophy book. A physics book.

I have passed the PhD qualifying exams in physics as well as taking a variety of graduate level physics courses. I doubt you have ever thought deeply about the Schrodinger equation or know the difference between it and the Dirac equation. I very much doubt that you know *anything* past the popular drivel concerning general relativity nor could you read, say, Weinberg's book on cosmology.

When was the last time you actually opened a physics book? Again, not a philosophy book dealing with physics or a popular magazine, but an actual textbook in physics?

I would suggest *you* have a LOT to learn about modern physics. Including, I might add, that the old views of causality due to Aristotle are not considered to be valid any longer. Causality is NOT a requirement of quantum mechanics.

I have woken up. You are still stuck on ancient ideas of causality that were overthrown both by general relativity (in particular, the Big Bang) and by quantum mechanics. You are still stuck in a viewpoint that was overthrown in the 1930's.

And I am pointing out that your statement 'matter cannot be uncaused' is simply false. it is shown via actual observations to be false.

Electrons can exist quite easily outside of atoms.

Exactly!

Reality does not care if some idiot believes in it or not.

Reality just is.

Reality will still kill that same idiot regardless, if he **ignores** reality in favor of his stupid delusions (religion).
