In fact you would be the expert on that.
Nobody can hold a candle to you in that category.

Does your little brain need to feel better by thinking you're right? lol
Thats a delusional, insane brain.
My brain doesn't need to constantly belittle people that believe different than me. I don't know why yours does. Well, except for the fact that it's not capable of thinking about other people. I'm smarter than that.

Yep. James does nothing but belittle non-believers.

Yet he had the stones to post that little gem.

Talk about delusions. Did I tell you that I thought snakes could talk? Why do you state something as a fact when you don't know? That's just plain dumb, so I see why you would state that.
Is part of this stupidity from thinking that when you read the bible you get the absolute correct interpretation? lol, you aren't that smart. You need to get over yourself. In youre mind I'm delusional. In reality, humility doesn't exist in a delusional person. That part of their brain doesn't work.
So you are saying you cherry pick what parts of the bibull are true. How do you know you are right?

Oh, indeed-- I belong to the First Church Of Sleeping Til Noon On Sunday.
Sometimes, I backslide and get up early, say 10 o'clock. But that's okay-- the First Church Of Sleeping Til Noon On Sunday is a very forgiving group-- so long as you sleep later than what you'd normally do? You are good to go. The most important thing, though? Is you must >>never<< feel obligated to get up to >>go<< somewhere.
That's key to being successful in it.
A second premise, is to >>never<< give your hard-earned money to con-men. Especially not on a Sunday, but also throughout the week.
Of course-- that does sometimes present a problem on April 15th, but there is a special exemption for following the law of the land-- if you are >>compelled<< to give hard-earned money to con-men by >>law<< you are excused.
:)

Blasphemy blasphemy I cry blasphemy!

There is only one true atheist church

Re-posted and edited <by me> from the original author:'It Ain't Necessarily So'

The First Atheist Church of the Non Credo Quia Absurdum.

We have no buildings, no scriptures, no beliefs in common except by coincidence,(I refuse and nobody else is willing either), no dogma, no clergy, no missionaries, no holy book, no rituals, no observances, no special clothing or hats. We never meet, collect money, or even communicate with one another.

We do, however, demand tax exempt status.
All communications with other atheists will be exempt from legal discovery

As the self-ordained head of this church, I expect to be eligible for a job as a cruise ship chaplain or United Nations Atheist Ambassador.

I see zero conflict here.

As Alice-- you remember Alice? that amazing and very clever girl who visited Wonderland? That Alice--

-- as Alice said? It is possible to believe in 6 impossible things before breakfast.

Of course-- clever Alice believed that she could indeed, defeat the Bandersnatch.

And she did, too.

Well-written satire or commentary I often copy and paste and save into a document for future use.

This piece from IAN'S was a example.

PS I have many many others

Alas sometimes it is difficult to determine the original author

Funny, I was thinking the same thing about you.
Once again, do you understand the difference between being self-caused and being uncaused? We agree that the universe is not the first. But you have yet to show that it isn't the second.
------

There is nothing uncaused and nothing can cause itself. Here the Primal Cause is implied. I think I have said this many times and you just don't get it.

No, actually. It was a serious possibility. It also shows that your method of deduction is faulty. Simply having the universe be caused doesn't make it caused by a all-knowing, divine, ever-present being with a moral plan for us. It could simply be the result of an experiment or art project in some higher dimension.
The point is that you miss many logical possibilities because you have your mind set up that there is only one real possibility and you know what that one possibility is.
----------

I am not an atheist. Only atheists believe that there is only one possibility: Theirs. And just one impossibility: God's existence.
To me there are many possibilities, including the one of the divine
Creator.

There's just no evidence.(shrug)

If you have an evidence that something can cause itself into existence why don't you show me? See the fallacy where you dwell?
Only verbal juggling that explains nothing.

Probably because if the universe had a beginning after all and something can never be the creator of itself, the only way out was

No.

Very few Atheists believe that some sort of deity couldn't exist.

I do however know for sure that no all powerful compassionate god can exist because we have evidence of avoidable suffering.
