As posted on that site, barring cowardly censorship:

------

You seem proud of your ignorance. The prefix "a-" in atheism means "without", and "theism" means "belief in gods". One cannot "disbelieve" what does not exist.

And that's "gods" plural. All "gods" are equally false - there is no evidence for zeus, there is no evidence for krishna, there is no evidence for the flying spaghetti monster, there is no evidence for the invisible pink unicorn, and there is no evidence for christian mythology. All claims are equally lacking in substance.

The number of openly atheistic people is growing not because people are "rebelling against religion" as you ignorantly claim, although there definitely are people who leave cults out of disgust. Most who gave and left cults did so because of education, not "rebellion". The claims of religion don't stand up to the facts, and those who choose to think eventually realize that. The largest number of atheists are people who have always been there, but afraid to speak out because of the risk of hate speech and propaganda, and the violence that such garbage foments.

>> Prior to recent years, atheists were considered
>> “dangerous” people “with no moral compass.”

Prior to sixty years ago, many people "believed" or "knew" that all black men want to rape white women. Hate speech and propaganda work well on the ignorant and is repeately propagated as long as there are ignorant people. Just as those who have blacks as neighbors realize they're as normal as themselves and not "criminals", so are those who talk to atheists instead of listening to third hand fictions.

One of the big lies that theists tell is "all atheists are communists", which is as false as saying "all catholics are pedophiles" or "all baptists are KKK members". It's easy to sustain a lie when there are people dumb enough and willing enough to believe it, regardless of the facts (which explains why creationism remains popular).

Perhaps you need to get out more.

I get rather amused at the number of non believers who keep on chanting.'Prove there is a God'.

Those of us who believe do not need any proof..Its the non believers who seek it, so let them go find their own truths, and believe as they will.

..... Belief is not enough. There are many people all over this planet who have/have had religious experiences and for them this is PROOF that somebody or something exists that/who helps them, and perhaps even communicates with them via dreams or thoughts. But there are very many who never had such experiences and therefore for them that is PROOF that the God as described by the belief systems or their literature does NOT exist. Does that mean that they reject the Ten Commandments, for example, that they believe they do not exist for them, nor that the many other moral requirements of belief systems apply to them that are legal?

There are no such things as gods or fairies. Religion = superstition.

If there was no possible way to detect a rainbow, it would be meaningless to say it exists. Given how many people over time have wanted to 'prove' the God exists, it is reasonable to say that they have failed. Given that ALL the proposed proofs are re-hashes of old ones that are known to be faulty, it is reasonable to think that no proof will be seen soon. So it is reasonable to believe that no such being exists.

But those who CAN see, DO see.
