I agree-- the time is past, to keep placating these lunatics.http://www.aljazeera.com/news/ americas/2013/05/2013523224135 470744.html
"The Supreme Court ruled in 2000 in favour of the Boy Scouts, saying that the prohibition against openly homosexual members was part of its right as a private organisation to free association."
Fair enough. And all fair-minded people should recognise that this group posing as supporting 'wholesome virtues' places gay boy scouts in the position of putting up with second-class status and supporting a discriminatory and hypocritical group; or being divided from their friends when important (to them) activities take place and lessons are learned.
Religion is nothing but trouble these days.
There are no 'new atheists'. Non-believers like me have simply stopped being reduced to lying when trying to accommodate religious aggression and prejudices.
If a man claims his hair-brush tells him what to do? Everyone agrees that man is stone-cold crazy.
Why is it, when you remove the hair-brush and substitute nothing [god], that we then allow such lunacy to go unremarked?
