Ok, I said when I first began this that I am not looking for arguments. You all have NO clue about the Bible. IF you have even read it, you have done so without the help of he Holy Spirit and have no idea what it means. I am done responding to foolishness. Either seek Jesus or don't; it's your choice, and take this as a threat if you want to, but it's not a threat, it's a guarantee!
Translation: you need a magic decoder ring, and a frontal lobotomy (or a similar equivalent, such as no education of any kind) in order to "understand" the bible.

Evolution has nothing to do with Abiogenesis. Maybe you pick up a real science book to alleviate your ignorance.

I gave nine different buybull translations that disagree with you.
Man was created first in those nine, and there are more translations that agree.
If you don't like it, that 's your problem, your religion's problem, and your alleged god's fallibility for not being precise to begin with, and then allowing his alleged word to be misinterpreted.
Yep.

Not at all. The science of forestry does not depend on our knowing where the first tree came from 2 billion years ago.

The fact that there ARE TREES NOW and they can be bred, culled, maintained and otherwise scientifically studied is enough.

Likewise for biological species.

HOWEVER life first began, species are here now and we can study them and the evidence of their development over the billions of years and conclude, without the SLIGHTEST doubt, that species evolved one from another, and that this evolution continues today.

So whether the first life came together biochemically in abiogenesis, or aliens seeded it from above, or the Little Baby Jesus said "Poof!" one day, we can still study the evidence and see that species SUBSEQUENTLY EVOLVED.

Total nonsense. You started this thread to stir up trouble and make people as angry as possible. This, by the way, in the Holy Name of Jesus.((shakes head)))

I suspect we know your BuyBull better than you do. And no, we don't need secret, Crackerjack Box decoder rings in order to understand it. That's just more cult programming you have had drummed into you.

It's important for your masters to keep up the illusion that you guys are a small, select, secret club that will win in the end while everyone else loses and gets tortured forever.

The origin of life and evolution are two entirely distinct matters. The theory of evolution does not explain the origin of life, nor does it claim to. It starts with the fact that life exists, has existed for billions of years, and has left enough traces to allow us to see the development of species as they adapt to the environment. This allows us a working model to understand how, for example, methicillin resistant bacteria evolved from bacteria that were vulnerable to penicillin. This phenomenon is perfectly comprehensible in light of evolution. Take away evolution as an explanation and you need some Rube Goldberg-like deus ex machina to explain why penicillin no longer kills some bacteria it used to be effective in killing.

All of this is entirely possible without having an answer to the question "how did life begin?" Scientists are also working on that question. Perhaps someday they will have an answer. Perhaps the answer will always remain beyond our grasp. Neither possibility is relevant to whether evolution is a fact.

Ahh you mean the one responsible for the first ever genocide? The guy killed the entire animal population of the world bar a handful of close friends and about 80 million animals ranging from blue whales right down to the smallest ebola bacteria

The one who slaughtered two entire cities then killed the wife of the one surviving family.(Seemingly by super nova) and all perhaps because he canít stand chips without a pinch of salt.

The one responsible for the first documented child murder? The guy killed every first born child in Egypt when they were already suffering various plagues (that he sent) in the area.

Itís in the babble so it must be true

Or are you thinking about the estimated 800 million people killed in religious wars since the babble was written?

LOL

Evangelical Atheist

A person who has become extremely vocal about their atheism and is trying to convince others of their point of view.

Often they are regarded as an embarrassment by fellow atheists.

Sometimes their behaviour is an indication of the insecurity they might feel in supporting their belief ,especially when confronted with reasonable arguments from the other side.
Some Evangelical Atheists seek relief and vindication by lobbying to pass laws that will make it difficult for religious people to voice their opinions in the public square, or teach their beliefs to their own children.

You consider facts to be extremely vocal? Go figure

Tell me is it written that your god committed genocide?

Is it written that he slaughtered the inhabitants of 2 cities and the wife of the one survivor?

That he killed every first born of Egypt?

Or are you going to LIE about your godbook?
