Are Atheists mentally ill?

Aug 17, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Free Republic

Thanks to a couple of surveys, it's being put about in certain circles that atheists have higher IQs than believers.

I think you're talking about Islam, Buddhism and other funny religions. Thank goodness it's not Christianity.
Riiiiiiight, because there is nothing weird about chowing down on some Jewsus Christ(communion: Pagan ritual to take on the qualities of the one's flesh that you are eating), or sucking down some Christ blood, either(Vampirism: drinking blood grants immortality), and the hope to join Zombie Jesus (risen from the dead). Yep, that is all totally believable, nothing like those funny religions at all.

It's not like a god, making parents eat their children(Leviticus 26 :29) is even a little bit warped.

Duh, we know. Death would defeat the purpose, your god simply loves the smell of burning flesh, and he makes damned sure that he will always have somebody's burning flesh wafting towards his nostrils.

Russian,
we take females very seriously. We put women into space long before anyone else.
The thing I always enjoyed most about the Russian space program:

NASA spent millions of dollars developing a pen that would write in a zero gravity environment. The Russians used pencils.

You gotta admire their space effort, in spite of all the deaths.

Their approach to engineering was nothing short of pragmatic and brilliant at the same time.

For example: there is a specific problem that must be solved, or a specific task that must be done, to make the mission successful.

NASA's approach was to spend millions (or more) on a fully automatic, custom-made, one-off system to solve the problem/task.

Russian engineers would always ask first: can the astronauts do it? If yes: problem solved.

Brilliant!

If not? Who **was** it, then?
Oh! And I nearly forgot: isn't christianity the one that teaches people are tortured forever, simply because they cannot make themselves believe in silly and stupid shyt(bible)?
Hmmm?
Any deity who uses infinite torture (hell) is just on a petty revenge rampage.
What sort of god **does** that?
Our sort of God does that

Your god is therefore? Evil.

Seriously: revenge is a petty emotion.

Not something you want to see in an all-powerful god.

Clearly? The petty, monstrous god you believe in is unworthy of the title.

Such a monster-god would have destroyed humanity long-long ago.

Thus?

Your god isn't even real...

The truth hurts, doesn't it?

You pretend your ugly religion is "great" when history shows it's the exact **opposite**-- it is nothing short of evil.

But considering how evil your god is? This is far from surprising.

It is a damn good thing your god is also 100% myth, isn't it?

Me? Oh, no I don't take credit for what is in your holey buybull.

And why would you think it disgusting? It is after all, a rather new god-myth, and it simply absorbed some of the bits of older myths to bolster the numbers of converts that the priest could count on gleaning their own sustenance from.

It's not my fault that you have no idea of what your "lovely" god-myth really consists of.

Your memory failing? I have been there, there is nothing after death. For the dead, it is all over, it is the living who are targeted then.

BTW: The buybull myth-god is a demented freak, and it is boon to the priest to make sure you know it. Meat sacrificed to the god, was groceries on the table for them, so yeah, they built your god to serve, and he did, and still does.

Have you ante 'd up your 10% gift to the god's liaisons this month?

You are even worse-- it stands to reason your imaginary god would be as horrid as you.
You are projecting. The Lord is very merciful and you get back what you deserve. Death can also be instant. It's actually not that hard to get into heaven. But I wouldn't blaspheme God. It's considered a sin against Gods person which is deadly. How can you hate God with such a passion if you believe he is imaginary?

There is no fire in hell. You don't burn, you rot. The purpose of the sacrifice is to eat the meat and it has to be cooked. An offering can also be from the ground. God prefers a contrite heart over sacrifice.

I really can't see that infants deserve being born into sin. But, hey it's your buybull, interpret it the way you want it to read, you all do anyway.

And no worries, we will gladly blaspheme and mock the silly buybull god -myth, you just keep on bowing and scraping.

Funny. Wow, you get hauled out of the grave, where you have been very busily rotting away, to what ... rot some more but slower?

Contrite heart? Bull, the liaisons to the gods needed food, and nothing but the best from your flock, will do. But now-a-days all they need is the tithing envelope on time, and a line or two of bequest inserted into your will. The ever malleable god-myth is constantly being revised to fit every whim. What number is your self styled religion in the line-up of thousands upon thousands of Christain religions?

Really? 3 year old children forced to drink polluted ditch-water get what they "deserve"?

Seriously?

What could a 3 year old child have **possibly** done, to deserve such a fate?

You are a lunatic.

Being born into sin is a buybull myth, that harkens back to the mythical garden of Eden and the same sex couple Adam and Eve.

You are a buybull thumper, and as such, belong to one of it's spinoffs which includes Christainity. You all base your inane bullshit on the god of Abraham's holy books.
