Blasphemy as civic duty and moral obligation

Full story: www.examiner.com

Blasphemy is not a crime; blasphemy is a civic duty. It is the moral obligation of clear thinking, reasonable people to stand up and speak out against religious superstition and ignorance.

As posted on that site:

=====-----

"Blasphemy" only exists IF there are any "gods". Until one is proven to exist, blasphemy is the false claim of humans, not actual injury to any mythical "god".

And if any "gods" do exist, why aren't they acting on their own behalf? These myths can allegedly create the universe, but are now too impotent to kill one person for saying "mohammed is a pedophile"?

More likely, if there are any "gods" then their lack of action means they don't care about "blasphemy". In which case, why are the religitards getting pissy about it when their mythical "gods" do nothing?

No, no, no, Timmy!!! Your job is NOT to get stoned or to get anyone stoned but to remain sober, as sober as possible, and explain to the entire forum how the Virgin Mary was impregnated! Give them DETAILS! Personally, I think she was impregnated much like those alien abductees:

1. Mary squats
2. Mary is in a wide stance
3. Mary's ears are to her ankles
4. Mary is inseminated through a tube much like the heifers that are bred here in Texas.
5. Yahweh records an orgasm on Mary's part.
6. Yahweh thanks Mary for her cooperation during the artificial insemination and flies away to giggle with Zeus through much manly macho grunting and compare notes.

Yes? Blasphemy is a blast-for-me!

I would say that, Blasphemy is a victimless action; it is in no way a crime.

Partying with friends is not "kind?" Explains why you're so lonely.

Before Rome:

When the Christ myth was new Mithras and Mithraism were already ancient. Worshiped for centuries as God's Messenger of Truth, Mithras was long revered by the Persians (Zoroastrianism) and the We do know this:
With twelve disciples he traveled far and wide as a teacher and illuminator of men.
He was buried in a tomb from which he rose again from the dead―an event celebrated yearly with much rejoicing.
Every year in Rome, in the middle of winter, the Son of God was born one more, putting an end to darkness.
Every year at first minute of December 25th the temple of Mithras was lit with candles, priests in white garments celebrated the birth of the Son of God and boys burned incense.

Mithras was born in a cave, on December 25th, of a virgin mother. He came from heaven to be born as a man, to redeem men from their sin.

He was known as "Savior," "Son of God," "Redeemer," and "Lamb of God."

His followers kept the Sabbath holy, eating sacramental meals in remembrance of Him. The sacred meal of bread and water, or bread and wine, was symbolic of the body and blood of the sacred bull.

Oh, just find someone wearing mixed fibers, and then pretend it's him. Start in your own family. I am sure you will find several sinners there, who have earned death by breaking the laws of god.

"The term thawb is also used to refer to similar women's garments. The traditional Palestinian woman's long tunic is called thawb."
