It’s very sad but this kind of thing goes on in every city. Children being beaten, locked up in cages, starved, abused, neglected. This is one case of thousands of cases. Look at the Casey Anthony case in Florida. A child was murdered and thrown away as trash.
What happened to the perpetrator? Not a damn thing because the Jury let her go. What would be interesting to know if Child Protective Services had any prior dealings with this family.
Child Protective Services in my opinion is broken. That organization across the land needs to be more aggressive and effective. It needs to be fixed and revamped.
The jury let Casey Anthony go because of lack of evidence. You can not lock somebody in prison just because it seems as if they may have done something wrong. There needs to be proof.

I suppose either is possible. Goes to show that the bible is a grab bag, and you can cherry pick verses to support just about anything from child abuse to slavery to incest. It would be unusual, though, because usually when atheists point out absurdities or atrocities in the OT, the typical theist dodge is to say that jesus changed all that, and the OT laws are not in effect. So, it would be quite unusual to see theists citing OT as trumping NT.

Those theists obviously do not know what their Jesus told them.
Matthew 5:17
New International Version
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."
So, if they truly follow their god they would be protesting at the court house while these two D-bags fry.

Another failed creationist apologist attempt at trying to defend christianity from its own statements and behaviours.

In the same way, you can't sell god without proving he's real.

Explain how what I wrote was a defense of Christianity and not a condemnation .
