This blog post is interesting and topical...
It is interesting how the language faith infects his writing, e.g.'I never lost faith in humanity'. This might suggest inadvertantly that having 'beliefs and faith' are inherently good. He also feels he has an ideology, or that ideology can be a good thing.
Arguably, an ideology of peace and political stability might be a good thing,(were it to exist and its definion be clearly defined and accepted), but one should surely be cautious about ideology in general.
I think the blogger (who's now in prison for 'hurting religious beliefs') would have done well to acknowledge that ideology can be as harmful as religion but perhaps he would agree with that it can.
