It's kind of sad how people like this can never present any evidence, just run around in circle spouting their unproven bullsh*t all day long.
So are you continuing to let him carry on with the illusion that I'm some closet creo? Would that not be another example of dishonesty Skip?

Mom as your science teacher! LOL
My mom though science was "for boys" and hated when I learned how computers, car engines, and chemicals worked. I think she hated it because I had the drive to learn that young, and she was just too stupid to leave the couch.

Let's see, religious leaders have routinely abused their positions throughout all known history, from killing off family members to gain land to molesting children.

Scientists have given us great tools with many uses, understanding of how our universe works, and extended lifespans with an improved quality of life to the point that the poorest of us today live as kings in prehistorical eras.

If you think religious people are better, you haven't been paying attention.

You forgot Gregor Mendel, whose careful and methodical experimentation resulted in the first coherent mathematical model for basic genetics. The have been many researchers who were ardent believers. There still are. But their adherence to scientific skepticism and the scientific method keeps them from injecting religious belief into their work. For them, science is for discovery and learning.

Some here, on the other hand, try to use science to "prove" things that are outside of the range of scientific inquiry, focusing on apologetics rather then discovery.

That's not science.

That's nice Russ. But did you notice that not ONE of them invoked GODDIDIT WITH MAGIC in ANY of their scientific work? Besides, since you've already openly admitted on the other thread to denying EVERY SINGLE FIELD OF SCIENCE then this means according to you these guys are all just a bunch of heretics who will burn in hell.

It's also interesting to note you mentioned Linnaeus, the guy basics of his biological classification system is still in use today. The reason? Evolution. He laid down the foundations of it, allowing others (like Darwin) to build upon it and help form the basis of modern biology. Karl's the one who classified humans as apes, a century before the beginnings of evolution as we know it.

Here's a few other scientists who believe in God:

Lord Robert Winston
Ken Miller
Francis Collins

Aside from being working biologists, do you know what else they have in common?

By the way, have you gotten around to addressing all your mistakes and lies on the other thread yet?

Didn't think so.
