thank you, M, for leaving 'c----ards' out of your good wishes. People with evil thoughts and deeds don't need Christmas and not even a Happy Holiday. Love's most likely missing. Respect seen as NOT essential, but it's Christmas so make your Holiday one of JOY, PEACE and GOODNESS to family and friends.

You seem desperate to flog this book...

Sadly i think it'll be 2138 before any progress to this end. I wish i had Jean-Paul sartre's attitude to religion, a man so thoroughly atheist he deemed the whole subject beneath his intelligence to consider. Simply religion is divisive and restricts us as a species, simple as that. Check out a book that's causing a bit of a buzz in the Uk called 2082 the chronicles of hope, it's been pushed by Dawkins. On the website the 1st chapter for the 1st book is on there for free, there's a speech in there by an atheist politician that's genius
If this is what it takes to flog the book, it can't be worth a light.

That is a very nice sentiment.

One I wish to echo.

So I will, by quoting yours.

Cheers!

Instead, Internet Atheists claim that atheism is a lack of belief (which is actually agnosticism).

Indeed they are.

They cling to their delusions as if it were life itself.

It's truly sad.

Only people who are either extremely stupid or people who have been literally brainwashed, would consider islam to be ... at all reasonable.

Most of the atheists do not reject the possibility of God.In fact, most of the Atheists are "agnostic atheists".Agnostic atheists are atheistic because they do not hold a belief in the existence of any deity and agnostic because they claim that the existence of a deity is either unknowable in principle or currently unknown in fact.
The remaining small percent of atheists are convinced that there is no God or any super-intelligent creator of the universe by their own logic.
However, All Atheists concur on rejection of religions and their "Gods" as they are simply BS and figments of imagination. The miracles, prophecies and the unreasonable fettering of people and denial of personal freedom in the name of sins are the main reasons why we find Religion repugnant

You can always believe in God by not believing in any religion.can't you?But it is the most difficult part for theists as they wouldn't even have believed in God if there had been no religion.

Correct.

Afirmation or denial is a belief.
