My parents were never believers.
Yet, when I was a kid in Hong Kong, my father would regularly take me and my brother to Sunday school at Repulse Bay.
Years later, I asked him why he did this - what with him being a non-believer.
His reasons were entirely selfish: He's drop us off at Sunday school and then head over to the old Repulse Bay Hotel (sadly gone now) and enjoy a couple of quiet hours having breakfast, coffee and reading the Sunday papers.
Dad was a Mason
Mom was just mom, I miss them dearly for all that I am today I owe to them.
