That imaginary scenario is not all that far-fetched: we could do it, even today, if we as a society, had the will to do so. Nothing really new needs to be invented or discovered to create such a machine as that.

I see a future (presuming we don't knock ourselves back to the bronze-age, because of the coming scramble to move away from the rising coastlines) where most of the mundane medical procedures are done by machines, who take immediate samples of your body chemistry, and process a custom-tailored solution on the spot.

Eyes, again: the lens in your eye is so poorly "designed" that it is not renewed like your skin is-- and by the time you reach 30is or 40? The lens no longer stretches like it used to, and you WILL need glasses or other corrective mechanisms to be able to see clearly.

Feet: too small for the load they must carry for 80+ years. Everyone suffers foot pain of one sort or another, by the time they reach their 50's-- it only gets worse as we age.

In males: prostate. This little organ seems specifically "engineered" to kill most of the male population in one or more ugly ways. And near the end, leaving him impotent (and depressed).

In females: who was the total azzhole that "engineered" women, such that their body creates ALL the eggs she's ever gonna have by the time she's born-- such that these very delicate cells, with their split/haploid DNA in an extremely vulnerable position-- are subject to ANY AND ALL dangerous conditions. All the accidental toxic chemicals exposures can damage them severely. And radiation. And normal sickness, if the body temperature goes too high, and so on. This is simply unconscionably irresponsible. We can blame nearly ALL birth defects to the fact that the egg/ova is OLD-- as OLD AS THE MOTHER, in fact. Why not have her body create NEW, FRESH ones each month, as men do with sperm?

Back to men: who was in charge of quality-control, in the sperm department anyway? I mean-- who let it slip-up that mammal sperm cannot live in the same temperature as the other body cells? Reptiles manage this just fine. As do birds, fish-- heck even whales (but they are living in water...). No, most mammals have sperm-production in these unhandy pouches on the frikkin OUTSIDE. Well, there is certainly historical precedent for your idea.

Looking at areas that mostly had christians? The christian groups >>always<< split into at least two groups, sometimes more, and began fighting amongst themselves.

For christianity, just like islam, requires an "enemy"-- and not just a fictional one like satan, but a real, human "enemy" that they can hate on.

Christianity thrives on hate, and falters in the absence of it.
